Justin Gaethje +145
The former World Series of Fighting 155lb champ’s much-anticipated debut in the UFC octagon. A Division I All-American wrestler who has gone undefeated as a professional MMA fighter (17-0 ... 14 wins by KO). Johnson has lost 3 of his last 4 and with the exception of Edson Barboza, hasn’t faced a striker as devastating as this guy. Michael will likely hold a speed and overall striking advantage but good wrestling will squash that. In recent interviews Johnson has said over and over he isn't going to stand in front of Gaethje and let him tee-off like he’s done to other guys. If so this will just add to Justin's advantage. He has excellent takedown defense, and Johnson’s ground game is not at the level of a black belt in submission grappling. Gaethje can win this either way, he has all the tools to deliver Johnson’s first knockout loss, or outwork the UFC vet en route to a decision.
