Preseason:
ATS / 1-0

Again I am going to have to go with the deeper team here and that would be the Giants in my oppinion. I feel they have a decided edge at QB. The Pats are going to let Brady play a bit in the first quarter and then let Rohan Davey take over followed by Cliff Kingsburry and Damon Huard. The Giants on the other hand go with Collins first handing off to Jessie Palmer who then goes to Jason Garrett. All veterans, maybe not the best ever QB's, but going against 2nd and 3rd string defenses will make them look great. RB is another area I feel the Giants have a sizeable advantage in. Tiki Barber is followed by Ron Dayne and then Dorsey Levens. The Pats are also trying to instill a 3-4 defense this year. I think the first few pre-season games are going to be sloppy for their defense as they get used to it. That said, I am on the Giants small tonight. Please no lightning tonight so SIA can't rip me off.

great thoughts I hadnt looked at it in that light.

I haven't made my decision yet myself (cause I'm going to the game and I don't wanna ruin my viewing pleasure).

Info:

The New York QB rotation is as follows: Collins, Palmer, Garrett and Van Dyke. Certainly Collins, Palmer and Garrett will be productive, while the jury is still out on Michigan State's second year man Van Dyke.

The Patriots QB rotation is; Brady, Huard, Davey and Klingsbury. Brady and Huard both possess NFL experience, while Davey and Kingsbury do not. Note however that both Davey and Klingsbury were very accomplished college Quarterbacks at LSU and Texas Tech. It will be interesting to see if they have what it takes to succeed at this next level.

SaintJoe,

Do you think maybe you automatically assume that because he is an LSU product? Noone knows how good he is going to be. There has to be a reason so many people passed on him. Wouldn't you agree that a 4th round pick or whatever he was is worth betting against when he has no experience at all? He did look talented at LSU though. But as the SCC has proven again and agian that 9 out of 10 of their QB's are NFL waste.

Adding the over here as well. New defensive scheme for the Pats and injuries for the Giants make this one look tastier every second.
