They've never been able to handle Locker. I don't blame their defense at all. They played well enough to win. Corp, "Mr.Perfect" in camp didn't look so perfect in his first start. Carroll was 100% right to start Barkley over Corp. Now we'll never know what he could have done had he remained healthy. I have a feeling he will be back in the saddle pretty soon. Typical for USC to blow it in a conf. game they should win. This must be the 4th year in a row that's happened.
ya i said it in another thread. atfirst i didnt understand why he got so mad at sanchez. but now i understand he wanted to give barkley a year to get ready before he started. pete knew this whole time corp is useless, why else do you think he didnt make barkely put street clothes on. i think doctors are the only reason barkley didnt see the field in the 4th quarter
In his defense, he had little to no incentive to come back to school. He had graduated with his degree and was a top-15 pick. He didn't want to come back to school to take a dance class ala Matt Leinart.
It was a great decision and I think only a small portion of it was in regards to money. Keep in mind, all these high draft picks that decide to come back to school take out huge $$ insurance policies, so if they were to go down they would still be millionaires.
