Update- Today I read in the local paper that the ref (sorry can't recall name) who made that erroneous call has been struggling with depression since that game. He said he received death threats following the game as well.

In other words, he will be judging how the replay officials performed their jobs. For that bit of work, he will be paid a tidy sum of $350 a game.
