agreed . baseball tonight is a solid show. in fact, it ranks second to college gameday as far as shows they produce.

i cant watch college gameday. i keep wanting to punch lee corso...it's not the way i want to start my weekend. i'd rather cut the grass, take a shower, have some coffee, then log into the r/x and see who slim's customers are playing.

Everytime I do something I'm ashamed of or wish I hadn't done, I make myself watch sportscenter twice if Stew, Neil Everrte, or Scott Van Pelt is anchoring. This is my form of self punishment/torture and has really helped me become a better person.

stuart scott is absolutely brutal. chris berman is unwatchable. the only show that's any good is baseball tonight. peter gammons, harold reynolds and karl ravech do a nice job. i could do without jeff brantley and john kruk but...you cant have everything.

I just watched a couple of minutes of this fake news conference by ESPN. Two minutes is all I could stomach. Whats the point? Why would someone tune in to Sportscenter to watch a phony news conference?

Just lost a ton of text so here is short version.


Why does ESPN keep shoveling the same old stuff at us if everyone is unhappy with it? All forums report the same complaints but espn and the like keep shoveling out the usual overhyped, sensationalized crap. The most recent example is the 24/7 T.O. saga. Don't think it is going to die anytime soon! They have surpassed the E! Channel for sensationalism of a given star or subject and that is pretty damn bad! How do we get teh message across that we want to see more substance versus fluff and bs and off-the-field nonsense? Guess they don't care. Also cannot take Stuart Scott for more than say 45 seconds. Actually used to like this guy when he first arrived but he morphed into some pretentious, over-the-top phoney. Ironically, these guys claiming to be keeping it real are the biggest frauds going. God forbid they should string together 3 sentences in the King's English - guess they would lose to much street cred or whatever. And BTW, why does Dan "Upstart" Patrick always draw a free pass? He has very few critics out there and all the guy lives for is stirring up shett and getting under the skin of the person he is interviewing. IMO, a complete a-hole and jerk. He owes Olbermann big time.
