I can't believe this line. Think Georgetown wins this one. Thought ND got exposed on the boards and inside against St. johns, but maybe I'm way off, thought this would be a pick

ND exposed on the boards? Did you see Georgetown's performance on the glass against Pitt? If anything ND wins the battle down low.

did you watch the St. johns game?, don't think it's even close to compare what Pitt did against GT as they are much better than St. johns as far as, well, just about everything as I consider Pitt the best team in the country. ND gave up a ton of stuff inside, both rebounding and 2nd and 3rd scoring chances. Just stating what I observed in that game and thinking GT may be able to control the inside, but obviously the game is at ND, so they are going to play better than they did at St. Johns

yes i watched both games . it's important not to take just 1 game and hold that against them for the whole season's work. ND is +4 on the glass, while georgetown is -1 on the season. Both teams have struggled on the glass against big time competition, but Georgetown has been slightly worse. You also have to consider the personnel. ND at least has Harangody who is a beast on the boards. Monroe is a great player, but more developed on offense. Part of the reason I have such a big play on the Irish is because I am confident they can control the glass against the Hoyas. ND was +11 against a big DePaul team, and only -6 on the glass against a good rebounding Ohio St team. As for the Hoyas rebounding was the main reason they have lost games at home against Memphis, and against Tennessee on a neutral court. They don't do the other things, like shooting, as good as Notre Dame so their margin for error rebounding the ball isn't as large.

I have to agree with Homedawg on this one if you asked me a week ago about this game I would have taken G'town but watching the last few games MATCHUP wise Notre Dame has it here especially rebounding. I believe Georgetown is the better team overall but in this MATCHUP Notre Dame has the key pieces with one of those being home court advantage.
