What do you guys think of the Notre Dame-Indiana matchup? I think Notre Dame puts it to them before a fired up home crowd after 2 straight losses including one to Central Michigan. They are 18-3 in their last 21 games at home. Indiana is without their center Lynch and is coming off a deflating loss to Missouri after blowing a 13 point halftime lead. Opinions appreciated. Thanks.

I like the HOSSIERS in this one tonight. Hossiers are 1-4 ATS, and the IRISH 0-3. Indiana has WON the last 5 SU in this series. And the Irish got beat by a C Mich team there last time out.

Indian +8 for me....

Good luck

How can you seriously even bet this game? I mean, The Hoosiers are just really a bad team this year and Notre Dame has issues of it's own....like, they suck too!

The only thing that is certain about this game is that Chris Thomas is so in love with himself, that if one could get an assist on his own shot he would find a way to do it.

Did anyone even watch IU play Mizzou last Saturday? They shot lights out first half and then found a way to trick off a 14 point lead with just over 4 minuets to play. Guys, ...really,...this is a bad IU team right now. My guess is it won't be long before they start calling for Coach Mike's head on a platter. He also is over-rated in my opinion and not that great of a coach. If you play this game tonight I assume you also buy lottery tickets.

Kudo's for those who pass and don't need the "thrill" of watching two piss-poor teams run up and down the court trying to figure where the ball goes.

yes IU does have the #1 class coming in next year. and it is the only time in history(dating back at least to the late 80s) that tehre has been a recruiting class with 5 top 100 players. But actually IU will not have a top 5 or top 10 class probably in 2005(just hoping to land zeller and james), but in 2006, you can expect to see IU with the top class again. around 6 of the top 10 have IU in the top 3.

The reason kids like Davis is because he is a half ass who lets them run up and down with no discipline.
Some of the kids in this supposed great class next year will bolt because his team will suck so bad this year.
Most don't have the guts to tell the truth on this because of the race card, but Davis is poorly qualified and cannot put two intelligent sentences back to back in an interview.
It is a DISGRACE that IU would even consider hiring ANYONE with no head coaching experience. Simply stupid and inexcusable.
HE CAN'T CUT IT. I don't care what color, or shape, or size he is. HE CAN'T CUT IT!
Sad day at Indiana when they lost their mind and offered him a long term deal based on what was accomplished by Knight's team! I am not a fan of Bob Knight. This has nothing to do with him. These guys just SUCK. NO point guard at all and no legitimate post man. Even when Lynch is healthy they are very weak inside and have NO playmaker at all.

They will get nutted all year long on the Big 10 road and also often at home. As I said, some of the quality recruits will make other plans when they see what a fire drill this will become.

Sorry Indiana fans.... Lots of long winter nights are on the way!

I am not saying to bet ND.

Stalker-Dude above is balls on accurate.

This is a poor excuse for a televised basketball game.

Chris Thomas has been far overrated since being AAU player of the year at a young age. He is a self-centered, spoiled brat. His family has money and he is a hound.

The TV people are up his butt all the time, but when you check the scoreboard he does not get the job done as a leader of the team.

As I have already pointed out, Indiana sucks all around in general and Davis sucks really bad in specific. No telling how this game comes out, but the ESPN people must be sick to have to make up all sorts of hype tonight to try and interest people in this crapshoot. This is historically a really interesting matchup. But this year just a half rate sideshow!

Packer, your comments are way off base. The recruits arent going to back out of thier committments. 3 of them will be McDondals All Americans. 2 of them are very close to Davis. Smith though might bolt for the NBA. It was Davis's team that he took to the Championship. Did you know that Jeffries came to IU because of Davis and how much he liked him. Lynch? Who is lynch, I guess you must not actually pay much attention to IU, it is Leach. and Bob Knight wouldnt have this team wtih any better of a record right now. I mean honestly are they expected to go on the road adn win at wake and win at vandy. 2 frosh, and 3 sophs starting, with your only guy in the middle out. I mean honestly, IU is playing probably the 2nd or 3rd most difficult schedule in the country. Give the guy a break. Once Davis gets all his recruits here to play his offense, I expect things to be a lot better offensively. He runs this offense though and we dont have the athletes for it right now, but when you listen to the recruits, all they talk abuot is the offense.

Crimson, actually to most IU fans, Indiana is right where we all expected, a lot of us hoped for 3-2, but most of us expected 2-3, and with Leach out, you cant expect much more.

Well said, Matt. IU and Davis will be fine. This year may be difficult at times (especially without LEACH), but no realistic IU fan thought it would be a dance around the May Pole. The tough non-conference games will pay off come conference season. The future is bright.

Davis has no desire to recruit Zellers and James he has big time players ready to jump on the band wagon, if Josh Smith plays 1 year they will be great, he is better Labron, take a look at the hi lites
