Not that any of the Libs here would have said it (because they were always to busy starting crap), but...

Hillary, Michelle, and especially President Obama have exuded nothing but class since Trump was elected.
Maybe the moron protesters will wake up and follow their lead eventually.

Well said, Scott. That's the beauty of our republic. The peaceful transfer of power is something to be admired. W treated the Obama's incredibly well, and now the Obama's are doing the same for Trump. Gives you a glimmer of hope for unity sometime in the future.

Little known fact -- 8 years ago Obama skewered Bush 43 in the days leading up to the election. Obama walked into their first meeting a bit apprehensive. George and Laura could not have been more warm and welcoming. It left an indelible impression, a mark which Obama has carried over to today. Also, the Obama's are said to LOVE George and Laura. And they remain great friends. How about that?

President-elect Trump has acted very presidential so far. I give him an A. That can't be an easy thing to do, or maybe for Trump it is given how many world leaders and business tycoons he's dealt with.

So far?????

its barely been 36 hours!!!!

Pete don't mash the good. Geez! Look at the shit they were saying about and to each other 36 hours ago. 3.6 years ago. All of THIS right now is good, regardless of those dissatisfied with the election results.

I wonder if Trump has had an under his breath, "Oh Shit!" moment yet.
Don't wonder if 8 years ago today I typed the same line above. I'm sure I did.

Exactly. Am I happy Trump is President Elect? Hell no, but he is President Elect whether I like it or not. It's time for me to get over it and move forward hoping he does a great job.

I honestly didn't think Trump wanted the job or was sure of his motives until he started fighting for it - REALLY fighting for it! - during the general election.

Four years previous to that, he flirted with running while leading all the polls in the primaries, then purposely F-bombed his way through a speech right out the running.

Joe I think anyone would be overwhelmed right now. Even an egotistical blowhard.

The word of the moment is "conciliatory." It started with Hillary's phonecall to Trump. It's carried over to today. Even the comments I'm hearing on CNN about what America is demonstrating to the world today, just great stuff.

Exciting huh?

Didn't even take him 48 hours to make Pelosi wet.

Hopefully with the Senate and the House, the GOP will block all of that but can they? He has the mandate, it's his party and it is going to be tough to obstruct a new President in your own party.

75% of Americans support infrastructure spending so it'll be an uphill battle to make. Sounds like a job for Cruz.
