Is there any point in starting a damaged Thomas Jones against the Ravens?

Going to take a shot with the Falcons Norwood this week against the crappy Jags run defense.

Anyone else using Norwood?

First thing to consider is that even though they definitely flashed it in week one, the Jags' run defense is anything but crappy. They aren't quite as good as Baltimore but are one of the best run-stopping teams in the league. One bad week does not knock them down any.

If Thomas Jones is expected to get the majority of the runs, I'd go with him. If he is not, go with Norwood. I doubt you get many fantasy points from either though.

When you give up 300 yards rushing to the Titans, there's more of a problem for the Jags defense then you think. That's one part of the game that doesn't get fluked for one week unless you have major injuries on the line.

Teams change from year to year.

By the way, the mods need to move all the fantasy football posts in here. It's all over the NFL and Main section.

Jax only allowed 82 rushing yards total today, 30 of which were Norwood's. This defense is for real. Do not be fooled by how horrible they looked trying to contain a great scrambling QB.
