don't know enough about SC to make a valid play. the upset of UNC is impressive, though (duh).


UOP is the pick to win the big west - and like CSUN, they, too and REALLY good

HOWEVER

i am just a tad skittish about laying this many points with UOP. the style of ball they play tends to keep teams in the game and i can see this one being a 5-point game with 5 minutes left - meaning the cover is up in the air.

UOP is simply someone you can trust laying more than about 5 points - especially on the road (i know this one is at home - but in general...)

Northridge got down too far and yet almost got in the backdoor

but sometimes when you lose a play it sets up something for a larger play down the line - and that is what happened here (i hope) with CSUN

i missed on the csun/vandy game - but was dead on with UOP.


this is NOT a team you should be asking to lay more than a handful of points. they let this one get away at the end and win by 6 after being up 2B digits a good part of the game!

and in my posts above - it shouldn't read "CAN'T" trust
