Iowa St doesn't cover this spread. This line is way off just because Iowa St finally won a conference game although it was Baylor and Kansas comes off a loss against Oklahoma. Kansas played with Oklahoma in the first half. Kansas wins this game by 14 +.

Could you pass along any of your further insight into this game, i.e. emperical data, etc... that you might have or is it shear gut feeling? And, believe you me, I have sucessfully bet many a gut feeling in the past!

I don't have any stats as to why I like Kansas this weekend, so I guess you could call it a strong gut feeling. I just watch this iowa st team and they don't click, can't seem to get it together. Lots of Freshman and Sophs playing. Only way I see ISU staying close is if their wide receiver Blythe has a huge day. He's about their only bright spot on offense. Running attack sucks. The defense is definitely known to give up yards and points. Iowa St's record looks good at home, but when one of your wins is against UNI, a DII school, that's not that much of an accomplishment. AM came here and hammered the Clones, and it's just my opinion that Kansas will do the same.

Have to agree with you Sting. Kansas hands it to Iowa St. here. Was on Kansas last week against OU for +27 and thought I was good until that last 30 sec touchdown. Stoops was determined to run it up rather than sit on the ball. Without the turnovers Kansas would have only lost that game by 17 points. I believe thay will pound Iowa here my stats have the game capped at Kansas -8.

A word of advice to you Kansas backers. Wait! This line is dropping and I think you will be able to get -3 by kickoff. I'm just saying to wait because this line is dropping and it's to your advantage to ride it out. Plus if the line goes up (for some strange reason), it's got to go from 4.5 to 5 to 5.5 then you might wanna take it before it hits 6. But anyway If I were to like Kansas in this game, I would risk laying 5.5 at a later date if there is a chance I could get -3 by the same date. I hope this makes sense to you.
