I got 68.5 and think the final score eclipses 80.

Neither team has a defense at all and both can put up huge points when against lesser defenses. Both have open, spread attacks that will produce big play after big play. 55-27 type final score for Rice, who is also a decent play.

Be very careful with your under. Just a warning.

N. Texas is averaging 11 points a game...if anyone has an offense its Rice...i see a lop sided game but i dont think either team is good enough i think to run up and down the field consistently...

North Texas has also played LSU and Kansas State to start that stretch. They can't score against good defenses but they are playing one of the 10 worst in college football.

Last year North Texas scored only 17 total points against Oklahoma and Arkansas but against lesser defensive teams they put up like 30 a game.

A very similar matchup to this one happened last year when North Texas traveled to SMU who also has no defense but a powerful offense (although not as good as Rice's). The final score was SMU 45-31. Not only was SMU worse on offense than Rice, but North Texas was in their 2nd game of this new offense.

This year with 7 guys back on O including their QB they are going to be able to open up Rice for some nice passing TDs.

Even if you don't think North Texas can score, Rice has a chance to cover this total by themselves.

North Texas is giving up 50 points a game and last year gave up 66 and 74 in their games.

just sticks out as a good matchup between a couple teams who have been beat up on by much superior teams, they finally can play against a similar team...i see a battle rather than a shootout imo

5 plays and a Rice TD already. I just think these teams march up and down.

And no, North Texas ML is not a play. They will score but are facing a better offense that will score nearly every time.

PS the game started a few minutes ago.

Haha after all this talk and how sure I was about this total I realized I didn't put nearly as much as I intended to on it.

Oh well.

GL to ya on your other plays today. Hell, weird things happen so maybe this one still comes in for ya.

Troy/Oklahoma State is another total I think could hit 80.
