I know 32 points is alot of chalk with a decent Mean Green Defense, but they are going to be on the field all day. I know both these teams very well. I live across the street from N.Texas and keep up with the program. On the other hand I'am die hard Sooner fan and go to most games. The bottom line, going to Norman Oklahoma is one the toughest places to play in the nation. With the added seating this place will be rocking saturday, and I don't see the N. Texas offense crossing the fifty very often. This OU defense may be the best in a long time, their loaded everywhere. Jason White will be able to move the offense with a short field in front of him all day. If OU get up on N. Texas early it will get ugly.

Texoma-
You being a die hard Sooner fan should know, OU performs thier best in the "Big Game" situation, and North Texas is not a "big game" in the eyes of OU. OU has struggled with its season openers the past few years - last year vs. Tulsa, 37-0. (Tulsa sucks!)
I keep up with North Texas, and we agree on the fact that UNT Defense is good. OU will not have a cake walk with these guys. I'm not too sure Jason White is the answer to your offensvie needs - his last two seasons have end with knee injuries. He will be tested by the Mean Green line.
North Texas will get 9 points and that will be enough to cover.

Atlas, good comment. OU is not going to play their "A" game, and this game should cover. If it were against a greater opponent, I wouldn't bet against the Sooners, but in this case jump on the Mean Green.

Realize this is not a Sun Belt opponent UNT is facing. There defense won't look so good tommorrow, and there offense will get "pimped slapped".

I think this game is very similar to the Miami / La Tech game on Thurs, except OU is at HOME. OU will not throw much of a game plan at NT, but OU's sheer athleticism will wear NT down, create turnovers, and probably result in 1 or 2 special team scores. Miami did not look that good on Thurs, but they end up winning by 39 points.

Just because your grammer sucks in your first reply "If OU get up on N. Texas early it will get ugly."--you don't have to get upset when someone rags the Sooner Nation. I know ya'll all think you will win the Nat'l Championship, but pray the Sooners can score some points against the Mean Green and White is worth a darn.
