actually not really.....but who knows..

btw...posted this topic several years ago....General Pete mustve deleted it...

awhile back a poster wanted to know "whats for dinner"...it went over pretty good (maybe one exception with a poster saying "a new low for therx)..but otherwise it was a good diversion from the gambling game...

My question to the posters (your answer really will tell what type of person you are..so be honest)......

WHAT DO YOU PUT ON GRITS....when you eat them....

for those of you who have never eaten grits or dont know what grits are...you may substitute beans for grits...

if you dont eat beans...answer yes or no if you eat tofu..

salt, pepper, butter and hot-sauce goes on my grits...

(and no..i havent eaten all day.....)

Grits

Brings back memories. Being from up North the first time I saw grits was basic training down South. I though it was Cream of Rice hot cereal and put milk and sugar on them. Actually wasn't to bad if I remember right. I did get some strange stares from some of the guys around me. Later I lived for a while in Mississippi and never really aquired a taste for grits with butter and salt. Once a Yankee always a Yankee I guess.

I hope this doesn't make me a stone square when it comes to gambling.:icon_conf

Never eaten grits and don't eat beans (too much gas). Eat tofu once in awhile when dinning out. Normally fairly plain, perhaps a little sauce but no salt, pepper, butter or anything hot.

Black pepper and butter. The salt must be added to the water before adding the grits. Otherwise, they don't taste near as good. :103631605

All very convivial until you realise that less time spent thinking about this crap means a better chance of winning Money gambling. But then again, I forgot, 80% of the people on here dont bet. :biglaugh:
