No Winner: Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $400 Million

No winning tickets were sold for Friday night’s Mega Millions prize, sending the jackpot soaring to $400 million for the next drawing, lottery officials said.


That would rank seventh among all-time U.S. jackpots.





Friday night’s numbers were 7-20-40-54-69 with Mega Ball 12. That pot would have been worth an estimated $353 million — the fifth largest Mega Millions jackpot ever and the 12th largest U.S. lottery prize ever.


The next drawing will be 11 p.m. ET Tuesday.

Since they've raised the high number to 75, it's made the Mega Millions harder to hit. The only thing good about it is their tickets are still just a buck. So I can buy a few more than the Power Ball Lottery

At the same time they added these multiple numbers to the other portion as GoSooners mentioned. Made the overall outcome hugely more difficult to hit.

As I think of it.... most of the younger generation are growing up to be so ignorant about math.... who can blame the states for lying to people and robbing them blind!

I once had 4 out of 6 in Lotto .. the 2 numbers that I missed were each 1 digit off from the actual number
