"Prior to to this year's Browns, winless teams after week 9 were 50-18 ATS, 74%, since 1989. Browns are 0-6 against this trend."

"Also, no team has ever gone more than an 0-10 ATS streak in a season. Browns are riding 0-8."

"So, if they don't cover the next two games, they'll match the worst ATS streak of all time."

"Since 1989, only two teams have gone 3-13 ATS (2014 Titans, 2007 Ravens). Browns are currently 2-12."

There has to be a lot of "grouchy" Brown fans in the Cleveland area and beyond......especially if they love to bet on the home-team.

I heard someone say from a sports betting perspective they are still over-rated. Damn, that's hard to even imagine that the worst team in the league can still be overrated. Yet week after week Browns betters get hammered. Sad to say I might have to agree. I just can't back a team that is playing that bad and so far it's been worth laying off of them. I've never seen anything like it.

Based on just this year -- in a vacuem, they are for sure. That is why they never cover. Sharps and betters (me a few times including, ridiculously, vs Dallas at home) bet them based on old, long-held trends about betting on bad teams at home. It isn't holding up ths year. I do think, if they cover -- or win -- it will be today. But I don't think it enough to be it, at least not as of 12:36 pm est.
