You will rarely see such a huge difference from a first to second fight. Pac was just a different fighter, used both hands very effectively, especially his body work. The longer it went, the slower Morales got. That bodywork paid huge dividends. He said he had a lot of new stuff to bring to the fight, but so did Hopkins. It looks like Morales is on a steep slope of eroding skills. Have to give credit where credit is due, Freddie Roach is one of the best. Just like a coach on a football game, you have to make adjustments to an opponent you lost to. Granted, Pac did not get cut up affecting his vision this time, but he looked like a polished boxer at times, instead of a brawler. That is all Roach. Pac is a huge draw, gigantic star in the PI. Plus, never a dull effort. He fights. He was devastating fighting little guys, but at this weight he needed to be a complete fighter. Not sure Morales is just pulling a Roy Jones Jr./Hopkins fade into the sunset, but he got rocked time after time. A real test for Pac will be against a contender in his prime, just like Hopkins found out. Probably won't happen as Pac will be guided into big name fading star fights. He no longer has the one punch ko ability he had when fighting lighter, but his accumulation of power punches, he rarely throws feints or slaps, and his outstanding body punches make him a real deal kind of fighter. Entertaining along with Chico.
