What is the rake currently for the 1-2, 2-5, and 5-10 no limit games?

In most places there isn't a rake at NL hold'em games. Most poker rooms charge each player $6 per 1/2 hour to play. Every time a dealer is changed each player puts out $6 which is dropped for the casino. This replaces the rake.

Above is correct in all Track poker rooms in Fl as well.

That's typical for limit games, but no limit typical charges everybody the same fee per 1/2 hour (typically $6) and doesn't rake each pot.

The only place I know of that has bullshit "time rake" like Drew Callihan is the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

It's 5%, capped at $4, I believe. And then most places have $1 go to a "jackpot" or something like that.

Haha, you obviously don't play much No Limit in Vegas and other casinos across the country. I play several times a month at Horseshoe Indiana (formerly Caesars Indiana), which is a Harrah's owned property and one of the largest poker rooms in the midwest. 1/2, 2/5, and 5/10 NL, all of which I play, have $6 per half hour time rake. In addition, Pot Limit Omaha games (I also play) have the time rake as well.

I also go to Vegas several times a year and play NL only, and every casino I play (Bellagio, Caesars, Venetian, and the Mirage) all have time rakes for NL hold'em.

I cannot imagine the majority of casinos in LV charging a timed rake.............find that hard to believe.

Why is this such a hard question to have anwered??

ICEMAN, find out what the following places charge for rake on 1-2 no limit.........

VENETIAN
CEASERS
MIRAGE
STATIONS
ETC ETC

In FLORIDA, the standard is 10% with a max $5 rake.

In IOWA, the standard is 10% with a max $3 rake.

In MISSISSIPPI, the standard is 10% with a max $3 rake.

Florida has no comps, Iowa gives $1 an hour in food comp, Mississippi gives away the food(as much as $5 per hour in comped food and quality buffets can be had for 2-3 hours of play).

So again, WHAT DOES LV CHARGE FOR RAKE ON THEIR 1-2 NO LIMITS GAMES.

THANKS

You need to get out of 'tucky more often. Have never seen this at Commerce, the Bike, or Vegas.

Atlantic City

10% with a $4.00 cap for ALL 1-2 NO LIMIT ,2-4 ,3-6 and 5-10 Limit
Some do this for 2-5 NO LIMIT
then..
$5 per 1/2 hour for ALL 2-5,5-10 NO LIMIT 10-20 Limit ...

Table charge increases about $1-$2 as you move up limits

Pretty Sure most of the big rooms in Vegas do similar!!!

I know the answer but don't like your attitude nor your use of CAPS, so maybe you can just use the internets to find out. Next time kill them with kindness.

Your 'tucky comment shows your ignorance. There are no "legal" poker rooms in Kentucky.

I'm not saying ALL casinos charge a timed rake, just saying the ones I typically play at do. Horseshoe Indiana does charge a timed rake on all 1/2, 2/5, and 5/10 NL. I also get out of "'tucky" quite often and play in Vegas. In my most recent trip I played at Bellagio and The Mirage (in my opinion two of the better poker rooms in Vegas) and both had timed rakes.

little out of date but i believe last time i was at MGM and Mandalay in august it was 10% up to $5.. They certainly were not timed. You could always just call the poker room and ask

With blackjack at the Hard Rock here in Tampa, one can wager as much as $2500 per hand..............while the maximum buy-in to a no limit poker game is capped at $100.

Hilarious and sad at the sametime.

Bullshit When I played at the V it was a % rake not time pay. Quit pumping out your chest like you know all things poker.

Here in Detroit its all % rake.

Haven't been in Vegas since June so things might have changed. As of then it was pretty much 10% up to $4 at the big places, Wynn, Venetian, bellagio, MGM. The smaller rooms, many with a BBJ had the $4 + $1 jackpot drop. I had heard that Harrah's properties were going to a 10% up to $5 but not sure if they stuck with that.

its only a timed drop in the really big games, otherwise 5% 3 or 4 cap. no flop no drop. SoCal is the worst for rake. 4 plus 1 for jp. so your paying 5 a hand for 1-2 NL. The rake is often times bigger than the pot.
