No Bowl for Clemson because of Brawl

ESPN News reports that Clemson officials say they will refuse any bowl bid (if offered) because of the brawl their players participated in last Saturday against South Carolina. Clemson has a record of 6-5 and is bowl eligible.

Now South Carolina announced that they also will refuse any bowl bid. They are eligible at 6-5. Most likely both teams would have recieved bowl bids - they should let them play each other.

Damn, no chance to travel out to Boise (What a treat in late December) or travel 2 hours down the road to Atlanta for their 4,734,746th appearance in the Peach Bowl. They make 7 figures on the Peach Bowl appearances just off of the gate. Additionally the ACC will lose out on some money as well.
