Hello all
I thought I would stop by to share my thoughts on the NIU game tonight.
Ball St., statistically, is not that good on defense. Particularly, they are 95th in the nation giving up an average of 188 yds a game on the ground. To the contrary, NIU is ranked 13th in the nation in rushing yards at an average of 269.4 a game. NIU should be able to move the ball easily on the ground. This will open up the pass, if needed, and keep them a balanced attack.
How is Ball St. going to be able to stop NIU on offense?
The only way I see Ball St. staying in this one is by being able to shoot down the field on offense and turn it into a high scoring game. Therefore, the question is whether Ball St can keep up?
I lean toward NIU -3, but if Ball St can keep up, then it could go over. I've noticed the total rise in the past couple of hours. Regardless, I think NIU should put up a lot of points. I think the safest bet here is:
Northern Illinois University TT OVER 33
Feel free to share your thoughts on this as well.
