Nice Looking Card Tomorrow

there looks to be some nice looking dog's tomorrow. At first glance it looks like there may be some very good opportunites to cash in on road underdogs. The Dodgers and Reds both match up well with their opponents (Dodgers hit leftieds well, Righties shut down Col). Another thing....how in the world does Carl Pavano return as only a 30cent favorite to Jeremy Guthrie is beyond me???

Volquez +150 looks too good to be true probally is. Oswalt was in the same boat against Santana tonight. Cole is over priced considering his record but Dodgers lineup can only score at the top of the lineup. Philly definitely has a more balanced line up. I have tried to take a look a teams running bad and play against those. The pirates/braves/royals qualify tommorow runlines minimize losses w/ those teams. Fading Sowers might not be a bad idea in Texas.

i feel strongly about Volquez maily b/c of Colorado's struggles against right handed pitchers. volquez has the stuff to absolutely dominate them tomorrow. Throw in how well the Dodgers hit left handed pitchers, espically Matt Kemp I think the value as a dog is too much to pass up.
I will most likely be playing on Sowers tomorrow. He has pitched much better as of late and Clevaland's offense has been as good as any lately. I expect them to put a lot of runs on the board and will continue to ride them until their bats cool off.

guthrie has the 3rd lowest ERA since the all star break. in his last 10 games he has allowed 18 ER's for a 1.80 ERA

NY is erratic at best and pavano has started 3 games in the last 3 years for NY.

i would be careful thinking NY is a big fav here

i meant to say underdog and trust me i don't think NY should be a favorite. If they were to play naked baltimore would be -180. Instead they will have jeresy's on hence the -130.

Only bet Reds 1st 5 innings w/Volquez as today was a great example how terrible the Reds bullpen is. Glad they had an 8 run lead, they needed almost all of it.
Also, big fan of fade Sowers, another example of a terrible bullpen.

as bad as Sowers is he does show flashes. He has pitched ok as of late, and if anyone should be a fade in this game is McCarthy. He hasn't thrown at all this yr, and when healthy last yr he resembled a xmas tree at times then way he got lit up. You gotta favor the hotter team right now and the lesser or 2 evils on the mound. GL
