A---Played the Ducks tonight and the Maple Leafs scored late to tie the game 2-2 and sent it into overtime. Luckily for me, the visitors won the game in a shootout.
B---Now if that wasn't enough for fuck sakes, Tampa Bay blows a 2-0 lead and allows the visiting Atlanta Thrashers to tie the game 2-2 in the final minute of regulation and now that game is in overtime as well.
C---Took the under 5.5 in the Canucks-Columbus matchup and wouldn't you know it, the Blue Jackets score in the empty net to win 4-2, hence pushing the game over the total.
Un-fucking-believable!
Anyone else experiencing such tremendous luck on the ice?

Had the same type of day. Had Boston blow a 2-0 lead, and had the Vanc/Cbj under. That shits going to happen though, a lot like closers blowing games in mlb. Just gotta get past it and realize it'll eventually even out, you just don't pay the same attention to the ones that go in your favor.

Ivan Im right there with you. But MIdwest bookie is right its a marathon not a race. It is very frustrating though I agree. I feel like even when I have the right side I still lose. I had the under in Van/Col with ya. Empty netters happen alot.

It will turn around just stay with it. I am a big dog better and lots of favs have been winning.

Its a long season. Take a few days off and clear your head.

Agree that it's a marathon with this shit, but I just could not believe Anahein AND Tampa both losing the lead in the final minute.

So much for being emotionless...blew my fucking top.

TB won the game so that worked out for you. Hockey is by far the sport I get screwed on the least. Football is the worst followed closely by basketball.

Screwed by my Bruins the last two nights in shoot outs.

What a stupid rule and the money isn't even what I'm angry about. .. There's just no way a point should be handed out for that shit.

RIGHT HERE and RIGHT NOW, create a single page in your notebook where you can list Games you bet which are decided by Empty Netters. By the time you assemble 50 such entries, I bet you that there will be an almost equal amount on both sides

1) You won thanks to the EN goal

2) You lost due to the EN goal

Much akin to losing a Basketball or Football bet by 1/2 point. It goes both ways.

The same probably goes for OT/SO wins and losses. Although, the losses are always the plays you remember. I know I do.

I lost 3 hockey games in OT last night. 0-6 this year in OT too.

Boston blew a 2-0 lead
Toronto & Atlanta came back and then lost in OT

I lost Boston Monday in OT, Toronto last Monday and last Friday.

Not to mention Lakers blowing a late 11 point lead.

I suck and have been getting my ass kicked big time for 1.5 months now.

My record in overtime/shoot out is a horrible 1-8 this year..My only win was Montreal over the Bruins last week..The Bruins scored on a deflection off the glass with under a minute remaining..

I have always had horrible luck in overtime..Over the last week I have just decided to play every game regulation only until the playoffs..I am tired of losing in a shoot out time and time again..

Good luck to everyone whatever way you choose to play..
