NHL Totals - Cueball's Puck Picks

Hello all,

I've been a lurker here on this site for years. Really enjoy reading the posts and picks. It took me some time, but I finally think I have a decent handicap system for NHL totals. I'm not a multi-sports wagerer who just throws money at hockey to pass the time. I'm a huge hockey fan (Dallas Stars season ticket holder) and watch ALOT of hockey. So, here goes my attempt at tracking my plays and seeing what we can do. I know I have to earn my rep around here so it all starts today.

ALL my plays are for ONE UNIT across the board unless otherwise indicated. Every once in a while I might throw in a side play if it looks enticing. I'll have tonights action up as soon as the officials are posted. Good puck luck!

Thurs Oct 20 Bets:

Ducks/Flyers Under 5 +120 - Ducks offence is struggling - good under officiating crew - good price
Caps/Panthers Under 5 +110 - Panthers will keep play mostly along the boards
Leafs/Wild Over 5.5 +100 - Sketchy defense in this one - good over crew
Kings/Stars Under 5.5 +110 - Stars really stressing defense in practice - Kings can't score but will bog things down to keep it close
Canes/Flames Over 5.5 +100 - Good over crew
Stars ML -147 - my one side wager.....Stars too much for the struggling Kings

All are always ONE unit plays unless otherwise specified.

Ugh...just got back from Dallas (I live in Houston area). Rough night for my first post.

I was 2-0 the night before but of course my first post day is a tough one...oh well.

I just had to agree with goin4broke...good people here in the hockey forum, all positive. Lots of bad vibes on the other sports forums for some reason.

Another tough night with two close calls. A little embarrassed getting off to such a slow start. Probably best to fade me for awhile until I get through this slump. But I believe in the long haul my system works. That's why it's one unit per play - all the time.

Thnks Crazy! I'm not quitting. I've been refining this and believe in what I'm doing. This is a season long system that will have ups and downs but consistency is the key.
