So far, I've been pretty successful on playoff player props. I haven't posted any of my plays, so I guess the record (8-1) doesn't really matter. However, I would like to post :

<TABLE id=betChart cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR class=odd><TD class=betTicketTitle colSpan=3>Alex Ovechkin (Capitals) Will he Score a Goal - Must Play</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo>
4/20/09

</TD><TD class=betInfo>No</TD><TD class=betInfo>-170</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo></TD><TD class=betInfo></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I realize that AO has yet to score a playoff goal this year. Some would say that he is due for one, but I think that if he can't get it done with two games at home then he will have trouble at MSG tonight. Ovechkin is the A-Rod of the NHL.

Aside from tonight's prop, I also like :

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD width=220>Bruins(Boston)
Canadiens(Montreal)
</TD><TD>04/20/09(19:05 ET)</B>
Bruins(Boston) -130
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></B>

The Bruins have had no problems through the first 2 games at home, and I just don't see the Habs turning it around on home ice. Granted I don't think it will be another 5-1 blowout. The only thing that bothers me about this pick is the Lucic suspension, otherwise I'd bankroll this game.

I'll admit Ovie did have a decent game, however he was held from putting the puck in the back of the net. Chalk up another NHL prop win to take it to 9-1 (1-0 posted). i'll try to post more tomorrow. (p.s. Bruins victory $$$$)

Nice pick..........but scarrrrrrrrrey!
Who a thunk it? 4-0 and no Ovie goal.

Your right about 8-1 don't matter.
1-0 is great though.
Keep 'em comin'

So far tonight, I've seen one prop that has seriously caught my attention:

<TABLE class=inrunningResultBlock279763224 id=betChartSuccess cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR class=odd><TD class=betTicketTitle colSpan=3>Evgeni Malkin (Penguins) Total Points+Shots on Goal</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo></TD><TD class=betInfo>Points + Shots on Goal</TD><TD class=betInfo>Over 4.5</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo></TD><TD class=betInfo>Points + Shots on Goal</TD><TD class=betInfo>(-115)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Evgeni Malkin is arguably THE best player in the NHL, and he is currently playing on Pittsburgh's second line. This means there will be plenty of scoring chances against the second lines, both defense and forward, of the Flyers. Look for Malkin to cash in with a few assists to his snipers on the wings (Sykora/Fedetenko). The Flyers also spend alot of time in the box, giving plenty of icetime to Pittsburgh's PP unit. On the power play, Malkin likes to fire slapshots from the point. This is where he tallies up the SOG.

In the last five games Malkin averages 3.8 SOG and 2 PPG.
In this series he averages 4.3 SOG and 2.3 PPG.

To me this is a pretty solid play, BOL.

So I missed with the Malkin prop. I still think it was a great wager to make, but for some reason he didn't pull it out for me.

That brings the record down to 9-2 (2-1 recorded).

Tonight I likie:

<TABLE class=inrunningResultBlock279855302 id=betChartSuccess cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR class=odd><TD class=betTicketTitle colSpan=3>Saku Koivu (Canadiens) Total Shots on Goal - Must Play</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo>4/22/09</TD><TD class=betInfo>Shots on Goal</TD><TD class=betInfo>Over 1.5</TD></TR><TR class=odd><TD class=betInfo>19:05 ET</TD><TD class=betInfo>Shots on Goal</TD><TD class=betInfo>(-130)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Saku Koivu has averaged 2.2 SOG per game in the last 5 games. I'll admit, this isn't a very promising statistic. However, I expect this former Captain to lead by example in a do or die situation on home ice. I don't think the Habs will win this one, but they will not go down without a fight.

BOL cappers.

Alright, looks like Koivu gave up shooting the puck in the final 2 periods of the game last night. He brought me down to a 2-2 recorded record. No worries though, I have a few picks tonight that should redeem this two pick slump. Like 'em or not, follow them if you want.
Here they are:

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=2>Eric Staal (Hurricanes) Will he Record a Point (Goal or Assist)</TD></TR><TR><TD width=220>
</TD><TD>04/23/09(19:35 ET)
Yes -145
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=2>Simon Gagne (Flyers) Will he Score a Goal
</TD></TR><TR><TD width=220></TD><TD>04/23/09(19:05 ET)
No -170
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

No writeups this time, just picks.
