Some really pathetic numbers from these three shops enforcing my belief that getting numbers in Vegas can still be the best value.


My early tickets are:
Very large on Philadelphia 25/1 Binions, (CalNeva)

One unit wagers on:
Tampa Bay 100/1 Mirage
Ottawa 125/1 Rampart, (now Southpoint affiliate)
Dallas 100/1 Rampart
Toronto 100/1 Binions

Pocket change on:
Phoenix 150/1 Binions
Atlanta 200/1 Binions

As the year progresses I’ll look for others but I doubt I’ll play anything else until the season is at the first quarter pole. Or they make me a offer I can’t refuse.

Buying Pittsburgh at 75/1, (in February), bailed me out of what could have been my first losing season with NHL futures in a very long time.

Truth is I stumbled on this number, (and Dallas at 100/1), on my way to dinner one night at the Rampart. I couldn't get my money out fast enough and grabbed both just on principal alone. Within a couple minutes they adjusted the lines to where they should have been all along.
