NHL: Does the public prefer favs and overs like other major sports?

Or do the bettors prefer unders and/or dogs more in hockey?

Curious if it the same as the other sports.

If wagerline numbers are any indication, then definitely yes. The favorite bias is very heavy and the over bias is medium in my estimation.

No matter what the sport is, the Public has a very strong tendency to bet Favorites and Overs, period!
