Here we go...one last attempt at exploiting the NHL. I've changed my approach so much that I decided to start fresh with a new thread. This has been a process for me.
There will not be any chases...we will only play select Pucklines. If this works at all, it might require some adjustments as we go. It's all theory as there is no practical way for me to back test anything.
It is based on scoring efficiency match ups and the leverage of major plus money with the Pucklines. We'll try to grind it out with a volume approach first...if that doesn't work I will add some strict filters and try a highly selective quality approach instead.
To make it much easier for me to administer and to get plays out earlier...I will use Pinnacle Pucklines for record keeping purposes. I realize Pinny is not available to US players and Pinny lines seem to often be better. I'm not trying to line cheat, but I need the early lines to make this work.
$100 will be considered the base wager for ease of record keeping, it is not a recommendation on how much to wager.
Use caution...it is just an experiment. Maybe you shouldn't play them at all...sometimes we strike a little gold and sometimes we don't.
I'm thinking 1-2% of bankroll as a basic guideline ...IT MIGHT NOT WORK.
Most of you know the drill by now...the wager amounts I use are just for tracking purposes.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND $100 wagers on these...it is your decision based on your risk tolerance and your bank roll.
Let's see how this goes...I'm sure there will be changes along the way.
Good luck to us!
