leans..........
St Louis +3 Rams have really improved since firing their coach and Arizona will be playing their 2nd consecutive road game after losing a tough one at Carolina......
Green Bay +5.5 GB should be able to hang with Tenn and IMO beating the Colts doesnt say a whole lot with the lack of defense that they have......GB can score on anyone and they will this week plus throw in the fact that the Titans are feeling real good about themselves after winning on MNF and we could have a possible let down situation.........
Miami +3 This one is simple..........Miami will run the ball and Denver cant stop the run or the pass for that matter......Miami also plays solid defense which will slow down the offense for the Broncos.......
Oakland +3 Raiders play better at home and the Falcons shouldnt be favored on the road to anyone right now......throw in the east to west coast theory and this game looks alot like the Jets game a few weeks back.........hopefully we will get this one in regulation!!!!!!
Indy -5.5 I will check to see who will be playing for this banged up team first but I do think that they will give a great effort this week because they are playing the PATS.....Manning will be glad to be facing this defense which is not near as good as Tenn's........Pats secondary is very weak and I look for the Colts offense to get on track which will make Cassell have to win the game for NE which will lead to more points for the Colts........Colts win this one big!!!!!!
Wash -1 Home teams have been doing well on MNF it seems and I think that it will continue this week.......plus the Steelers are coming off of a emotional loss to the Giants and they are banged up....while Wash went through the motions last week vs Det......
these are games I am looking at right now..........

Lewis, you're leans look solid as usual. Just wanted to throw in my .02$ about miami. This is a tough spot to against den imo. They took the worst mnf beatdown of the year, and had a bye to regroup. I've got miami as a 1 pt fav on paper, but I've got a suspicion that denver will come w/ a good effort. Denver also has the biggest hfa in all of sports, with boise st being the only possible contender. If cutler is dialed in with his receivers, the donkeys could easily cover the spot...weak D sans bailey notwithstanding.
GL either way.
East coast teams don't have too much trouble traveling west. That's like playing an afternoon game for them. Its the west coast teams that have problems during the early east coast games because they lose so many hours and its a 9 am start for them in reality.Oakland +3 Raiders play better at home and the Falcons shouldnt be favored on the road to anyone right now......throw in the east to west coast theory and this game looks alot like the Jets game a few weeks back.........hopefully we will get this one in regulation!!!!!!
wow, love the pix lewis. I disagree on ten, but your reasoning is solid. I just think ten is the best in the nfl. How many times have they had letdown situations, and they keep playing terrific ball. True ind is a shell of their former selves, but how many teams are that much better than ind? Pit? Nyg? I still have ind in the top 10, and that's unhealthy. The ind win also came w/out vanden bosch, a major component to ten's pass rush. He's expected to play sunday. Anyway, gb is a well-balanced team too, but ten's "d" is unbeatable. If wayne, marvin and gonzo can't eat up ten, then gb's wr's won't be much more successful. And, luckily for ind, dallas clark is a talented te that could take advantage of ten's only weakness on "d". I don't know if donald lee is the same caliber. And forget about gb running. Ten has already shut down good running teams in jax, hou, bal, min, and kc. And now they were tested against a very good passing "o". If gb were at home, it'd be a different story. But i highly doubt ten will take gb lightly, who could be considered the 3rd best team in the nfc. And, gb's 3 losses were vs hard running teams in dal, atl, and tb. And their only 2 road wins were vs decimated sea and hapless det.
Phew! Well, at least you know what direction i'm going! Bol lewis, always appreciate your picks!
