NFL Week 8 $$$Four 5 unit Shockers$$$

5* Cleveland +5- -102 New Englands injuries finally catch up with them this week. They have played great but I see this as a 3 point game either way so I will gladly grab the +5-. Honestly, I think Cleveland win this game SU!

5* Pittsburgh -1- -102 St Louis on grass is nothing to brag about and Vegas knows with this line everyone will be on the Rams so I will take the Steelers in an upset. The Steelers will be coming off a bye and Cowher will have his troops ready for this one. Bulger will get hit early and often. Steelers win by 10!

5* New Orleans -1- -102 Here is another line that looks real funny! Panthers coming off of a loss so they get back on track this week right. Well I don't think so but that is what the linesmakers are hoping you believe. Everyone will be on Car but I think their due for another loss in this one. If you stop the Panthers run game you stop the Panthers and Tenn gave NO the gameplan to follow. NO in an upset!

I am also waiting for the KC/Buf line to come out. I like to play against a team coming off a big win on MNF and I believe that every team this year after playing the Raiders has failed to cover the following week. Anyway, I am liking Buffalo.

edit:Teams that play the Raiders are 0-6 ATS the following week. The line for the Buf game came out at +6-.

Other games of interest are:

Arz +6- vs Sf Their could be a letdown from the big win vs TB

Dallas +6- vs TB This game scares me because I like Dallas in this matchup but the Bucs after losing last week will be ready to go.

5* Buffalo +7 -112 I like Buffalo for the above reasons and I believe they will exploit the weak KC defense with the run (something the Raiders should have done more of!) and then go over the top when the safeties creep up.

You are very correct about teams coming off of the Raiders. This also is correct involving Miami, TB, and the Rams. There are also teams where their opponents have covered every game the following week. Sorry don't have it with me at this time. I do think a couple of them are the Jets and the Giants off the top of my head.

lewis, you're right about stopping the Panthers' run game. If you can do that, you will probably win. But how do you think the Saints are going to even have a chance to stop that run game? They can't stop the run.

I believe that Tenn showed New Orleans exactly how to limit the Panther run game by changing their defensive scheme.An example is going to 5 linemen in certain situations and just changing defenses depending on what offensive personal the Panthers have in the game. NO is in sync right now on offense and I think that they will win the game. Earlier in the year Car barely beat NO 19-13 when the Saints offense was struggling. The Saints are going to make Delhomme beat them and that just won't happen!

Also Delhommeplayed for New Orleans for years as a backup,He will know that stadium and throwing in it better than Brooks.

I would classify it as a shocker because you have a first place team going against a team they have already beaten and one that is supposedly not as good. Plus yesterday you have BG over NIU and Ole Miss over Arkansas both were favorites but everyone thought that the other teams should have been favored. I also have Pitt today as a small fav over the mighty Rams and I also would consider this a shocker as well. Anyway good luck today but just thought I would explain why I put shocker on those two plays.

Great info on Delhomme but I believe that the Panthers were getting all the breaks in their early games this year. I think they are about to go on a losing streak and they will end up not even making the playoffs or even having a winning record. I see this as a 8-8 team at best. This line also tells me that the linesmakers also believe that the Panthers are overrated because they know that everyone will see this as easy "W" for Car since they are in first place and they lost last week and they will get back on track this week. I don't think so.
