Thanks BOSS

- Thanks goodness for the TD in OT in NO that punched my ticket for a positive day, no dinner at the Steakhouse yet with my crew still eating at Burger King.

Seattle tonight was my Best Bet this week -10 looked about right and the news of Lynch not playing is okay with me. I am a bit worried how lopsided this game is getting and check with_ _vers team experts the top players are on DET +10. We get Rawls and Jackson instead at RB, Rawls ran for a 100 yrds last week vs Chicago and is head down punishing runner. In fact after many of his runs last week when he got off the ground Bears players were giving him an extra shove of punch for his efforts, I like seeing an RB get under the skin of another team. Two weeks ago Jackson put the ball on the ground in the 4th Q and the Seahawks missed out on a chance of covering the Packers game as a result. I should also mention it Rawls who made Robert Turbin and Christine Michael expendable at the end of Camp.

I think the Hawks are okay without Lynch because like the team itself Marshawn starts slow and then dominates the 4th Q, Rawls who will want to prove himself and may start fast (maybe even make an early mistake (forshadowing)). The Seahawks always do seem to start slowly but then their punishing defense slow deters a team in the 4th Q - this is usually how their seasons go as well slow in Sept and deadly in Dec. Of course the Lions will want to start quick and will throw everything at Seattle up front to take the Crowd out.

Jimmy Graham got into the act last week with 8 catches and TD look for an equal amount of action to come his way tonight, but Seattle has several good receiving options for Wilson, Baldwin, Kearse Lockett and Mathews will all get Targeted which makes it tough to cover this team down field. The other weapon is Wilson himself he doesn't seem to get going until he runs down filed 15-20 yards a couple of times which gives the defense fits.

Lastly Tyler Lockett - This kid is a field flipper - he has Kick return TD already and he did it in the preseason too...Don't be surprised if catches the Lions napping to tonight. Keep in mind though all that being said Seattle did only score 19 offensive points on Chicago last week. So while the offense is still emerging the defense needs to play like it did last week with Chancelor back, I have watched a few Seahawks games so far and have not heard much from Earl Thomas who had off season surgery, so having Kam back is great as he will need to support on coverage for Megatron. Chicago had 54 passing yards and Seattle was able to get good pressure on the QB, Stafford could be in for a long night from the Seattle pass rush.

SO in summary - my take for tonight.

No Lynch - Okay there is good depth
Slow start - Takes a while for Wilson get his groove on
Defense holds down the Lions especially in the second half
Lockett or the defense does something special & gets some points.

For sure the Seahawks hold Detroit Under 20 just not sure they score 30.

Plays;

Detroit +6.5 1st Half 2*
SEA -3 & U50 2* -120
Yes to defensive or Special Teams TD +161 1*

Need Seattle -10 to go 3-2 in the SC
Need Lions to lose on my loser pools - Like a suicide pool but you have to pick one team to lose each week and cant pick the same team twice. I am pretty confident in that one b/c -9.5 -500 is 5-0 SU on the ML chart.

GL guys and enjoy the game and GO HAWKS
