Horrible Sunday, but at least I got some of it back with a best bet MNF winner. I am going to be out of town all weekend, so I will post tonight’s game and be back with the rest of Friday.

2* Pittsburgh +3 (-120) vs Baltimore……………………Pittsburgh does not have Ben, and Vick is starting….huge difference. Baltimore has a must win game and how perfect is it that Ben is out. No way Baltimore loses this game. WRONG. Just because a team has a must win does not mean they are going to win. Teams have must wins all the time and lose. Every playoff game in the NFL is a must win, but do we have 10 Super Bowl winners every year? Ben does not have to win this game for the Steelers, he just has to not lose it. You are going to see Bell and a short passing game for the Steelers and a few Vick runs. Steelers had a bend don’t break defense at St Louis last week and won the game. St Louis has a great defense, Baltimore does not. It won’t be easy, but Steelers win 24-17.

Got a push on the Thursday night game. I could kill myself as I usually buy the half point, but I thought the Steelers would win the game. I will not be home all weekend. Going to visit my nephew at college (Virginia Tech) and we even got tickets to the Pitt/Tech game. So posting all my plays today.

1* Miami +120 vs NY Jets………………Must win for the fish. They cannot keep playing as poorly as they have looked can they? Points not needed. They either win the game or lose by at least seven.

3* Philadelphia -3 vs Washington……………….Confidence. That is the reason for this play. Philly after last week believes in themselves again and should be able to put this one away. We should see the Eagles team that everybody expected from them this week.

Wanted to lock this one in while now for fear of it going to 3.5

3* Cincinnati -3.5 vs Kansas City…………….Why not ride the hot team? Cincy has looked great and I don’t see a letdown at home. I also do not see anything special about KC. Feel really good about my top two plays today.

1* Chicago +3 vs Oakland
1* San Diego -4 vs Cleveland……………cannot believe this line down to 4, I’ll bite.

Probably come back later with the 4:00 games unless I get murdered. Dolphins have already made me sick to my stomach. They need to fire their coach at the end of the game.

1* Minnesota +7 vs Denver…………..I will take my chances with AP and an improved Viking QB to keep it within a touchdown.

1* St Louis +7 vs Arizona………….Just a gut feeling Zona plays a close game this week.

Leaning towards the Saints tonight with the huge line drop. Will be back later on if I play it.
