Respect the opinion, I see that you responded in my other thread I started and I actually put a little down on the Bucs tonight. But when I mention the word shootout in the NFL it's more of a misnomer relative to college, so it might not be the right word to use here (referring to a score of at least 28-14 or somewhere along those lines). I now see how the Bucs could actually be a great contrarian play tonight. It won't surprise me if they get blown out, but if I had all the answers I'd be the richest man alive. Love to see tatehill on them as well, hate being on oppo sides of United, but hey, that means one of us should come out on top! BOL with the plays tonight everyone.

Also blindly tailing you on college this year United, I'm not very competent with college, hope we get K state to at least hang around to get that teaser started :)

Sure hope the college plays start doing better, and don't think to much on the public thing. Cap the game, and go with who you think is going to cover. When you do your homework things usually turn out good in the long run. The public wins games to.

Hate when I overthink it, great advice, should've started with this game!! At least K State is interesting.

Atlanta -6 (1) pending

Colts -6 1/2 (1) @ Jacksonville

Going to take the 0-2 Colts to try and get their first W of the season. If they don't win this game they might as well pack it in. A really tough loss last week at home in a game that they had every opportunity to win. Schedule was tough opening up at Denver and then Philly. Finally they get a team with a offense that is quite different from the first two games. Indy has struggled on the road carrying back to last year, but they did beat Jackson both games last year, 30-10 and 37-3 at Jacksonville. Colts have had their way with Jacksonville winning 17 out of the last 25 games. Not a big bet, but I'm taking them.

Houston @ Giants +2 (1)

Great start for Houston at 2-0, they are now 2-14 straight up in their last 16 games.
Are they really back? They beat up on Oakland 30-14 and beat Wash 17-6. Giants at 0-2 and really haven't looked good, although the final score last Sunday is not indicative as to how close the game was losing 25-14 to Zona. If the Giants are going to get a W they better do it this week as they hit the road for their next two games. After playing out West last week Houston has to head East and play a Giant team that is desperate. Houston starting the season 3-0 just can't be true. I'm betting on it!

Dallas P @ Rams (1)

Rams big win at TB last week with a 19-17 thriller. After watching TB in this 1st half at Atlanta I feel even better about this wager. Rams will have trouble keeping up on the scoreboard with Dallas. Dallas got them last year 31-7 and hopefully this year they can at least win at a pick. SUCKER ME IN

Minny @ Saints -10 (2)

Just have that feeling that the Saints will explode at home. Brees is just to good and that Saints offense knows they have to score a lot of points to win this year. No way they go 0-3 and Minny will once again miss AP forcing them to abandon the running game to try and keep up with the Saints. I'm not even going to go through all the stats that favor the Saints in this one. I really don't care how many people say the Saints are a public play.

Like Giants and Saints, everything else meh. Teaser looks real messy - you are double dipping never a good idea.

Appreciate info, comments, opinions about the games, discussions, and well wishes.

I don't appreciate betting advice from posters that I don't even know. Hell, after 40 years of sports betting if I want advice about betting I'll ask for it!

good luck this week

3 heavy public plays there bud. With the bloodbath last wk, perhaps the house will give back some this wk? I'm so bummed I thought I put in a play on ATL Thurs morning, but look Fri & see no wager. Sigh. Got excited for nothing. At least you cashed.

All 4 of your pix are no-nonsense. If there is any sanity (questionable) in the NFL, they should all hit w/style. BOL United, again, keep up the great work!
