I was eliminated a couple of weeks ago. This pool is no scam, based on how it's run and the website and the emails and the standings and the people I have interacted with, including the Commissioner schmirt frequently cites. I also interact with schmirt, who I think is a good man

Good morning everyone,
I’ve had some emailing issues with spam, I've made some adjustments and hopefully this works. I tried using the sites e-mail option but some don’t realize it’s me and they also limit me to how much I can say. Screw that I like to ramble too much! So if you dont mind just reply back saying this email worked. Maybe my volume of emails that get sent and not replied back to have something to do with the spam mess.
Week 13 has officially wrapped up, and let’s just say it did not hold back. We had ourselves a full-blown NFL demolition derby. A total of 19 entries got bounced this week — that’s 28% of the entire pool gone in one weekend. If you felt a disturbance in the force, that was it.
Here’s who didn’t make it out alive:
EAGLES — 9 Eliminated
Philadelphia fell to the Chicago Bears 24–15. Chicago’s run game steamrolled them with two different backs rushing for over 100 yards — something the Bears haven’t done since 1985. Meanwhile, the Eagles offense stayed stuck in neutral all night.
For nine of you, this was supposed to be the “safe” pick. It was not.
RAMS — 5 Eliminated
The Rams were upset by the Panthers 31–28. Carolina gashed them on the ground for 133 combined rushing yards, and Los Angeles added in a pick-six, late fumbles, and general chaos just to seal the deal.
Five of you trusted them. The Rams responded by playing like the Rams.
COLTS — 3 Eliminated
Indianapolis dropped a winnable one to the Houston Texans 20–16. Houston’s returning quarterback and a few late-game breakdowns sank the Colts in classic Colts fashion.
Three entries fell on this sword.
RAVENS — 2 Eliminated
Baltimore rolled into Thanksgiving night and got handled by the Cincinnati Bengals 32–14. The Ravens picked a bad night to forget they were the Ravens.
Two entries paid for it.
TOTAL: 19 OUT
Whether it was bad picks, bad luck, or bad football, Week 13 cleaned house with zero remorse. If your entry didn’t spark joy, Week 13 thanked it for its service and sent it packing.
STILL ALIVE?
If you’re still in the hunt, congratulations on defying logic, statistics, and the NFL’s ongoing commitment to unpredictability. Enjoy the moment — because Week 14 is already stretching, cracking its knuckles, and eyeing your entry like a snack.

Alright folks. I have talked to everyone. Nobody came up with an exact preference of how we continue but everyone did agree that a partial split of some kind would be considered and then fight out for the balance. I've heard everyone's thoughts, theories, opinions, and desires. This is what I have come up with.
Bbeychok -30%
Daviesloveiii -23.33%
Seamus-263 -23.33%
Bartholomeu -23.33%
Everyone was fine splitting some and playing for the balance. This percentage was a happy medium of some player requests. If it is not acceptable, speak up and we will just have to advance. The % listed above would be the % of the split.
example if we decide to split 28k and fight for the balance that would be
8,400 bbeychok
6,532 Daviesloveii
6,532 Seamus
6,532 Bartholomeu
and then the winner of week 18 getting the balance of 4,960.
All of that's based on a 28k split. Nobody was dead set on a certain split amount so that could be changed.
Please before anyone blows a gasket on the difference in split % that was derived from some player requests as well as available picks left.
All that to say week 18 is it, there is no more. if we dont split now and everyone wins next week its a EVEN split. if everyone loses next week, well the commish will go on vacation compliments of the pool....... kidding kidding, everyone losing would also result in a even split. And NO if you win one and lose one that's no different then losing both so that as well would be an even split.
