cleveland plus points
buffalo under total

cincinnati's defense proved to be just the elixir for the struggling browns early on last year. late in the season bengals ruined browns playoff hopes in a game with crazy winds that made passing tough. browns made two overdue decisions this practice week - they acknowledged the fact that lewis needs more touches in the running game. and they are also prepping quinn to be ready in case anderson implodes again. running lewis, who gashed cincy last year, is a wise move. both teams at 0-3, but bengals are a dysfunctional 0-3. cleveland should get this one.

bills still inconsistent on offense. it took them 3 quarters to get it going against oakland. rams are a mess but id expect jackson to get a chance to back up his talk this week by getting a lot of the workload. its st.louis' only chance to win - run, run, run. no parish for buffalo is big in the special teams. when capping bills totals you almost have to assume that their great special teams will score or setup a score with field position. they are deep in the return game but parish is a home run hitter. buffalo should have no trouble winning this game but it might be of the ugly 23-14 variety.

Thanks for the picks. With Palmer out and the line at -2.5 cincy now, does it change your play at all?

same play. im not inclined to add more to the play or buy back at the reduced line. im very happy with the (+3) ive got. sometimes you can make a case for the team who has a guy miss due to injury .... but not the bengals. they are already a mess. they arent the kind of team id expect to rally around this kind of thing. huge difference between a team like new england professionally reacting to losing brady .... and dysfunctional cincy reacting to losing palmer. no leadership for the latter. plenty for the former. game still has to be played though. btw if forced to take 2.5 or nothing, id moneyline it. jmo.

...browns fans can take solace in knowing that today's game is almost a win/win situation for them. browns will either be 1-3 and headed back in the right direction ..... or crennel will be fired after an 0-4 start and losing to a rookie and then backup qb in consecutive weeks. his job was already on the line. the stakes are only higher now.

going to try the jills in the second half.
saint louis caught buffalo offguard on a few plays in the first half but i dont think the rams can move the ball in the passing game. if buffalo makes any sort of adjustments they can at least salvage a straight up win. this game is proof that there are no easy wins in the nfl. but buffalo should still find a way to pull this game out. gl

Thanks prod- didnt see your play on cleveland in time, but I did tail on the STl under. Don't follow blindly, but your writeups are oftentimes spot on, as evident by this game so far and the cincy game last Sunday.

Well you were right about the Rams not gettin on the board, but the pick 6 and Rams inability to make one stop hurts.
