the 2009 NFL schedule is released in prime time for the first time, exclusively on NFL.com and NFL Network, on Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. ET. :toast:

Is it just me or does the Monday Night schedule look lackluster? Bills at Patriots , and Chargers at Raiders. At least the opening game should be good, Titans at Steelers (should have been the AFC championship game), and the Sunday night is a classic Bears at Packers. First chance to see Cutler in a Bear uniform.

steelers schedule does look pretty weak, they should have another good year

Statistically, they have the hardest if you look at the win percentage of last year. They drew the NFC North and, excluding Detroit, should be a solid division, Bears upgraded at QB, if the Vikings can upgrade they will be very strong, and Green Bay is loaded with talent, just need to put up. They also drew the Titans (best record) and the Chargers (still very good), along with playing Ravens twice and the Dolphins at the end of the year...If the Dolphins continue to evolve...this might not be as easy a schedule as one would think.

I have thought that the Monday schedules have been crappy ever since ESPN took over. I am surprised they haven't complained (publicly anyway) since they paid such a high price.

Not real excited about spring game, just a glorified practice. It will be interesting to see what Cody Greene does though.

yeah, I want to see how he does. I've heard Lee is pretty quick. Be nice to see some dual threat from him.

Yeah, it sounds like he could be good but we really don't have a backup. Witt transferred and Spano tore his ACL so the only backup is true freshman Greene and a converted LB, Latravis Washington.

Hadn't heard about Spano. Well, at least they are both big bodies. The running game will have to come up big.

Yeah, they should have some good backs. The Spano injury just happened yesterday, Bo says he hopes he will be back for fall camp but that would seem highly unlikely.

Have you seen Helu, he has put on 20 pounds and is faster than last year. He looks like a beast.

Suh should be a top ten draft pick next year if he stays healthy

Cowboys got a break with a very easy road schedule next year; the methodology the nfl used to create the schedule was pretty interesting
