I bet you it rarely if ever happens in any professional sport. Especially on some large scale. Not even logistically feasible.
Don't see why point shaving should be difficult to hide, not too hard to miss a couple of FTs, be a step too late on defense or turn a ball over on offense. Especially if you don't wait until the final minutes of the game. If you happen to be a huge favorite, nobody would even care since it almost never would change the actual outcome of a game.
Tons of point shaving in several (prof.) European basketball leagues, not even talking about the ones in China or Philippines.
Prof. soccer not any different: Brazilian soccer scandal, Italian Serie A, Austrian soccer, Turkish soccer, German 2nd Bundesliga, cup games, 3rd Liga, Scandinavian Leagues, UK soccer (at least like in Germany in the lower divisions, still pros though)...let alone preseason games / friendlies.
Another example would be tennis.
Either way, you probably would get the highest paid stars or top teams to throw a game since they have more to lose than to gain (but even saying this, there already were teams like Juventus Turin or Turkish top clubs involved in match fixing scandals...), but still lots of fixing all across the board, no matter which sport or country.
