NFL replay system is a joke!

horseshit system -- they don't even get it right 50% of time.

a clear fumble, with a clear defensive recovery...

they come out and say fumble but no evidence who had ball. They have 10 cameras on the field and not one shows an offensive player around the play except the guy who fumbled who clearly didn't have the ball.

bump...i'll hold judgement until i hear what the "official" rules are on that play but i think that is a TD and another botched replay. Had 2 feet down and possession of the ball....and it was as clear as it gets

Agree on that, viking: Although I like the system itself, the officials seemed to see a whole different game on their screens...
Not only was there no defender around the fumble (except for the fumbling player), the ball was also handed to the refs by one of the defenders coming out of the pile...

And the TD should hav stand: Not only was there no clear evidence, that he really lost posession, he also had both feet down...
Made me actually wonder, if the next step is calling a fumble + touchback, when a player runs into the endzone and starts tumbling while spiking the ball...
