Does anything stand out to you?


Colts moved up from 17th to 11th after a miracluous final 4 minutes. I can't agree with a move up 6 spots on that performance.

Steelers at 5 maybe slightly high

the powerrankings are a joke and give you as much information as the weather.(no matter what they say if its wrong everyone forgets cause all they want is the rankings for the next week)

Giants #1
4-0 they beat the Rams (31st overall defense, 30th offense) Seahawks(27th overall defense, 22nd offense) and the Bengals (19th overall defense, 31st offense) and they beat the redskins in a low scoring game @ home

I wonder why they have the #1 offense when they have played garbage. Lets see them play @philly,@dallas,@wash before we can even consider to rank them in the top 3



As far as the NFC goes, the Redskins should be ranked above the Giants, as well as the Cowboys (if for no other reason than the cowboys wins over philly and @GB prove more than the giants schedule)


you could argue the steelers are a bit high but to win without your top two running backs is pretty convincing of a solid football team.

and coming back like the colts did no matter who you are playing (think back dallas buffalo MNF game last year) shows that you have a winning football team, i have no problem with the colts at 11

Skins should be #1....they walked into Dallas and Philly and won both games convincingly. Tennessee is also up there but due to Washington winning really tough back-to-back road games I give them the edge. My top 5 list from then would look like this:

3) Giants
4) Cowboys
5) Panthers

Steelers are 6th IMO, honourable mention

:lol:you can only beat who is on your schedule, and a reason the gmen's opponents are ranked so bad is because they got their asses kicked by them.... you cant put the skins ahead of them, uuuuhhh because they lost to them.

its 5 weeks into the season, what happened in week 1 isnt the be-all and end-all, especially considering how well the Skins have played since making adjustments after week 1.

then by your logic the Atlanta Falcons should be ranked high because they beat the Packers, who played the superbowl champs closer than any team in last year's playoffs.

doesn't matter how good a team was last year. and week 1 results really aren't all that important. you have to look at how a team has fared this season overall, and combine it with its potential.

the skins have been perfect since week 1, and they had 2 really tough road games in the last 2 weeks. you can't knock them. if you wanna argue the giants are a better team overall, thats one thing, but dont compare the quality of opponents the giants and skins have played.

i like the skins, they are solid - but you cant rank them higher then the giants, because the gmen beat them heads up and have looked equally if not more dominating........ sure the skins have faced tougher oppon. but you can only beat who you play.........

I think the Giants should be #1 since they are undefeated SB champs but Redskins resume is much much more impressive so far this season.

The Seahawks were 9-7 and made the playoffs b/c one shitty team from that divison had to go.....GIVE me a break

LoL......Giants havent played ONE good team besides a redskin team on their first game (on the road) with a new coach.....LOL

I think Tampa Bay is a legit top 5 team. They have an outstanding defense, solid running game, and are very tough to beat at home. With Jeff Garcia, they have a QB who might not be the most skilled, but he knows how to win games. And, they have already handily beaten both of the other top 2 teams in their division, beating ATL 24-9 and Carolina 27-3.
