Round one of the Wild card weekend...

Cardinals +6.5 -122 4*
Cardinals ML +220 1*

Over 38 +102 4*

This game write now sitting on the chart has one of the teams winning SU points wont matter. After looking at this all week I have come full circle and back to the Cardinals. The Panters scored 14 points on TO's last week and have been great at creating Turn overs. Arians knows this Lindley's weakness as he is an INT machine, hopefully the game plan protects him. I think one of these -6.5 point teams loose this wekend to kill the teasers - it looks like it should be the Panthers

This total has been bugging me all week as well. Why 38.5 on the open, I was cashing Arizona unders all the way down the stretch. This one smells funny, if there are some turnovers hopefully they lead to points AZ has a good Special teams as well that can score.

Baltimore +3.5 -128 6* - Dont think this will be a FG game not sure why I book the hook off 3....I like the Ravens here Flacco has been Flacid in the first quarters, but his QR rating was back up over 100 last week. He should have a good game against the thin Steeler secondary. Bell being out hurts the steelers too much.

GL guys enjoy the games

3-2 +8.2* Yesterday.

Made some nice in game adjustments in living betting that I did not post and picked up a few extra clams but wont count here.

CINNCY +4 -113 4*
CINNCY ML +170 1*

The Bengals lead the colts in stat category I look at, so edge Cinncy.
Cinncy can run the rock and defend the pass, they also have a solid red zone defense.
The Colts have not played great down the stretch - in a meaningless game in week 17 were they should have been getting their run game worked out they rushed 30 X for 64 yards, they also let Tennesse rush for 142 yrds on 20 carries
The last two playoff teams the colts have played they got absolutely destroyed.

-3.5 -200 has .500 record on the chart and with ML rising and the spread not moving I have to think this is a big ML parlay play with Dallas.
The pressure is off the Ginger and Lewis - as they lost the division and finished the season going .500 in December
I think they come out and win their first Play off game, remember everyone ppl had the Bengals as a superbowl sleeper this summer. They are built to be a good PO team, Balanced offense and solid pass defense they were 3rd in QB rating against and have held the last 3 QB's to a 62%

Dallas -6 -108 8*

A week ago the cowboys were almost the number one seed in the NFC. They had a great December going 4-0 and winning by an avg of 21 points.
It is well documented that the Lions cant win OTR - it should also be noted they played 5 soft road teams - Carolina early on, NYJ ATL CHIC and Minny in one of Teddy's first games

This -6 -260 is the same line as yesterday's game with Panthers - I would not be surprised if the game plays out teh same Dallas builds and early lead, the refs get invloved to keep the game close from being a blow out to keep the ratings up and the Dallas Pulls away in the 4th Q.

Enjoy the games fellas!

3-5 -5.96*

Sunday was crippling Lost 14.46 unit on two games - On to this week....

Friday is normally when I make my mind up on my plays during the reg season, but I will post final plays tmr.
In the mean time here are some notes to consider.

The Only game I really like this week is Seattle Carolina & here's why from the sport exchange.

A 59.5 percent career passer, Newton has completed 54 percent of his throws against the Seahawks. In three games, he has averaged 145.7 passing yards, with just one touchdown pass. That was in 2013 to former Panthers receiver Steve Smith, and it was the only touchdown Newton's offense has scored in 28 drives against Seattle.

While they were "holding onto their tails," the Seahawks piled up eight sacks and at least 11 more hits on Newton. They also limited his running ability, holding him to 102 yards on 24 carries.

MY NOTES

Seattle has had to travel to Carolina 3 straight times and has won all 3 games in the notriously difficult early morning body clock time slot.

Carolina's last 5 opponents of the regular season
@ Min Lost 13-31
@ NO won 41-10
Tbay won 19-17
Clev won 17-13
@ ATL won 34-3
PO Arizona 27-16 the combined December record of the last 6 teams they played was 7-17

Carolina played in the weakest division in football - Carolinas divisional foes ranked 25-27-28 in pts allowed the Seahawks were ranked #1 allowing 15 points per game and
The Seahawks played in the strongest division - They are use to facing tough defenses 5-10-17 in Pts allowed - Carolina was ranked 23rd allowing 23 pts per game OTR 27

One of Carolina's best defensive Tackles - Lotulelei 6'2 320 run stuffer will miss this game
Seattle gets their All pro Centre Max Unger back - This will help the run game I read somewhere when he went down 6 weeks ago that the Hawks avg 1.5 yards extra per rush with him in there.

I say this game starts slow Carolina slowly falls behind 4-6 points in the first half and the in the second half Newton tries to do much Turn overs start happening and Seattle wins the second half by Double digits.

This game goes over and the Seahawks cover

Rest of my leans are

NE - DALLAS - DENVER

Be back tmr with final plays

Only play in Balt/Ne Game 1st Q U9.5 +111 3*

Seattle - 11 -106 5*
Seattle -3.5 & O32.5 -120 4*

Here are a couple of snippets from Sherwood a famous poster on our site that I like to read...I think you'll know who he likes by reading Haha

Kirk Douglas would have played better than Ryan Lindlay last week. Aside from the worst QB performance in the history of the NFL, the Cardinals punter could not boot it more than 30 yards, which set up outstanding field position for Carolina the entire game. That the Panthers didn’t score 40 points and win by 40 points should be a huge concern for anyone that is thinking of taking the points.

The Panthers played a game in slow motion last week but things are about to get entirely different here. Pete Carroll loves to run up the score whenever he can. Up 21 or 28 in the fourth quarter is not satisfying to this freak. He’ll go for two more TD’s if given the opportunity in a lopsided game. The Seahawks figure to get outstanding field position all day. Its defense figures to force plenty of three and outs and by the second half, Carolina’s defense will be gasping for air. Two-score favorites usually aren't attractive in the playoffs, but Carolina is a miserable offensive and defensive team that cannot live up to its misleading rankings this week. Anytime a team is coming off a “bad” win, we should be thinking about attacking them the following week and that’s precisely what we’re doing here.

Lets go Hawks!

Powerz, Seattle may win & cover, but the Cards still have a good defense, that's what kept the Panthers in check.

Of course Lindley & their offense is terrible, but the Cards defense can only do so much.

The defense feeds off the offense & vice versa.......everyone knew the Cards wouldn't score much, so Carolina didn't have to go all out on offense.

Carolinas defense is one of the best past 4 weeks......for some reason Rivera has them playing. If Cam makes several mistakes, Seattle will make them pay.

Carolinas defense IMO should keep Wilson in check.......its definitely gonna be a tough game for Carolina going up to Seattle.

I definitely don't see Seattle losing SU.......

Watch thi sline move back to it's opening number has gotten me off Dallas.

I think the Pack is going to win a nice high scoring game....

GREEN BAY -4 -124 5*
GREEN BAY TT O29.5 -116 5*
GREEN BAY +1 O46 -120 5*

Go Packers !

Sorry TCG - I think the field will be fast and the Dallas pass defense and rush is no match for Rodgers and CO.
