Broward County (FL) police has issued an arrest warrant for Tre Mason after he failed to show up for his arraignment on Tuesday.

Mason was charged with resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, and failure to register a motor vehicle back on March 5. He had to be tasered in order to cooperate. Once in custody, Mason will be held on $1,500 bond, a sum he'll likely quickly pay. Mason's NFL career has spiraled downward after being the 75th overall pick in 2014. His roster spot is in question.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Eagles "are in love" with Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott.

La Canfora "continue to hear" that if both Cal QB Jared Goff and North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz are off the board when the Eagles pick at No. 8, then Elliott "is the pick." The belief around the league is de facto GM Howie Roseman is "dead set on making a huge splash" in the draft. Elliott would qualify and immediately slide in as the Eagles' three-down workhorse after coach Doug Pederson previously coached workhorses LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles. Elliott may not even make it to No. 8, as the Cowboys at No. 4 are said to be "very high" on him.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Cal QB Jared Goff "has many champions within the Browns' organization," and he'll likely be the pick if Cleveland selects a quarterback at No. 2 overall.

Prior to this week, the thinking around the league was that the Browns preferred the upside of North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz over Goff. But according to La Canfora, if new OC Pep Hamilton "gets his way," Goff would be the pick. And Hamilton isn't the only coach inside the building pulling for Goff. The tricky thing, however, is the Browns' scouts "prefer Wentz." There have been rumors coming out of Berea that the football people (coaches) and front-office types (scouts) under the new regime have been in disagreement. With another two-plus weeks before draft night, this story is bound to change. The only thing that seems certain is Cleveland will be taking a quarterback with one of its two top-32 picks.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus stated on Sirius NFL Radio Wednesday that he "believes" suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon will play football in 2016.

Rosenhaus always does a good job of staying in the news. Contacted by Sirius to discuss his firing of Johnny Manziel, Rosenhaus also addressed Gordon's situation. Rosenhaus referred to Gordon's recent positive test for marijuana and dilute as a "hiccup" and "temporary setback," adding he believes Gordon "will be back in 2016." It's a sliver of hopeful news amid a storm of increasing pessimism.

TMZ reports free agent Johnny Manziel was the passenger in a car used in a hit-and-run in Hollywood on Saturday, and he was picked up after the incident by suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon.

The driver is believed to be Manziel's pal Ryan Silverstein, a member of rapper Drake's crew. The vehicle hit a light pole and fled the scene. Manziel was picked up from the crash by Gordon. TMZ reports Manziel has been interviewed by police, but accused of no wrongdoing. Silverstein is reportedly being investigated for a misdemeanor. Neither Manziel nor Gordon appears to be in any trouble here, but at very least it's confirmation of their association during an apparent Spring of Fun out west.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus has parted ways with Johnny Manziel.

In 27 years as an NFL agent, Manziel is the first client Rosenhaus has ever fired. It basically sounds like an intervention. "I have terminated the standard representation with Johnny Manziel in the hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs," Rosenhaus said. "I have informed him that if he takes the immediate steps I have outlined I will rescind and continue to represent him. I’m hoping he takes the necessary steps to get his life back on track." It's the second agent to drop Manziel and a likely response to his recent TMZ interview. Losing a high-profile agent like Rosenhaus is the latest setback in Manziel's disastrous and potentially career-threatening offseason.

The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe reports ex-Patriots DT Dominique Easley's knees "are in pretty bad shape, and there's not a lot of room for improvement."

Howe admits Wednesday's Easley release was still "stunning," and it doesn't sound like the lone reason was Easley's health. It's perhaps worth noting that Easley is being sued in Florida for animal negligence, allegedly permitting his dog to attack and bite a man named Wiley Brown. Easley's injury history is checkered to put it mildly. He tore both of his ACLs at Florida, tore his quadriceps last December, missed 2015 time with a hip pointer, and finished his 2014 rookie year on I.R. due to additional knee problems. We still wouldn't be surprised if Easley were claimed off waivers on Thursday.

Titans acquired picks Nos. 15, 43, 45 and 76 in the 2016 draft as well as first- and third-round picks next year from the Rams in exchange for the No. 1, No. 113 and No. 177 overall picks.

New GM Jon Robinson said he wanted a "King's ransom" for the No. 1 overall pick, and he got it. All in all, the Titans landed two first rounders, two second rounders and two third rounders for the top overall selection, a fourth rounder and sixth rounder. Tennessee now has six picks in the top 76 of this year's draft and are set up to have five in the first two days of next year's draft. Robinson said all of that ammunition gives the team options. "This move does not knock us out of any player, except one," Robinson said. "We now have the ammunition to work the draft and acquire players that are going to be good for this football team." With so many early-round picks in the next two drafts, the Titans are in a great position to build a strong roster around sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota.

The Los Angeles Times' Sam Farmer reports the Rams are targeting North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz with the No. 1 overall pick.

There was no doubt the Rams were targeting a quarterback when they traded two first-round picks, two second-round picks and two third-round picks for the No. 1 overall and some change, and it looks like that quarterback is Wentz. If the Rams do select the North Dakota State product, the Browns would face a choice between Cal QB Jared Goff, one of the top position players or perhaps trading down with the No. 2 overall pick. NFL.com's Lance Zierlein reported earlier this week there is "more and more smoke" the Browns are interested in trading down.

Seahawks GM John Schneider said he would be surprised if Jimmy Graham (patellar tendon) and Thomas Rawls (ankle) were not ready for Week 1.

"Yeah, at this point, I would be," Schneider said. "Right now, their rehab’s going well. We’re trying to get them ready for the season. We’re not trying to get them ready to play Minnesota in the preseason." It would be a shock if Rawls is not ready by Week 1, but Graham is a much bigger question mark after tearing his patellar tendon late in November. Even if he is able to make it back for the start of the season, there is a very good chance Graham's effectiveness is compromised by the injury. Whether he begins the season on the PUP or not, Graham will be a risky fantasy pick this season.

Seahawks GM John Schneider said the team is still "working on" the running back position.

Thomas Rawls is expected to be the lead back, but he is coming off a nasty ankle injury has just 147 NFL carries. Schneider said he would be surprised if Rawls is not ready for Week 1, but it would not hurt to grab some insurance in the draft. Seattle also re-signed Christine Michael this offseason.

Titans GM Jon Robinson confirmed the team is open to making more trades prior to and during the draft.

"My phone is still working," Robinson said. "Feel free to call." The Titans landed six picks overall including two first rounders for the No. 1 selection, but Robinson has made it clear the team is not done yet. With 11 picks in the first three rounds over the next two seasons including six in the top 76 this year, Robinson said Tennessee has all the "ammunition" they need to "work the draft."

Minnesota signed DE Jared Allen to a one-day contract so he can retire as a Viking.

Allen played for four teams during his career including the Panthers last season, but his most successful years came with the Vikings from 2008-13. Three of his four First-Team All-Pro honors were earned in Minnesota, and he recorded 22 sacks in 2011. Tied for ninth on the all-time sack list with 136 over his 12-year career, Allen's next stop is likely Canton.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Percy Harvin has informed the Bills he is retiring after seven NFL seasons.

And so ends — at least for now — one of the stranger careers in modern NFL history. Harvin exploded onto the scene as a 21-year-old rookie in 2009, catching 60 passes from Brett Favre, and was one of the league's most dynamic wideouts from 2009-11. Then injuries began to take a massive toll on his 5-foot-11, 184-pound frame. An absolute bruiser of a player despite his small size, Harvin sought out contact. Unfortunately, he's also had multiple issues off the field, and reportedly got into fights with teammates Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin in Seattle. Harvin is still only 28 (in May), so a comeback is a distinct possibility, but he likely wants to recover from years and years of injuries first.

The Broncos will host the Panthers in this year's Thursday night opener on Sept. 8.

It's a Super Bowl 50 rematch, albeit without Peyton Manning. The stars had to align for this matchup to be possible, as the Broncos and Panthers only play once every four years. 2016 just happened to be the year the Panthers head to Denver. The NFL has made a new tradition of the defending Super Bowl champs hosting the season's opening game. The rest of the schedule will be announced Thursday evening at 8ET.

Ex-Patriots DT Dominique Easley went unclaimed on waivers, and is now a free agent.

It confirms there was more than meets the eye with Easley's Patriots release. Either his knees are in extremely bad shape, or he's dealing with an off-the-field issue. That being said, Easley is still only 24 (later this month). If he's not in serious legal trouble, teams will line up to give him a second chance on a bargain deal. Easley may have to get healthy — he's recovering from a torn quad — before shopping his wares on the open market.

This will be the 1st time since 1970 that Week 1 sees a Super Bowl rematch from the previous year.

Free agent DL Jason Hatcher is retiring from the NFL after 10 seasons.

Hatcher turns 34 in July and hinted he may hang the cleats up following the Redskins' Wild Card loss to the Packers in January. The former 2006 third-round pick out of small school Grambling State was a late bloomer and didn't become a starter until 2011. From 2006-2010, Hatcher started one game and recorded 7.5 total sacks for Dallas. The next five years, Hatcher was a full-time player and one of the better interior pass rushers in football, recording 27 sacks across five seasons with Dallas (three) and Washington (two). The Redskins were interested in bringing back Hatcher, and the Saints were also in on him before signing Nick Fairley.
