I will probably never move away for more than a few months at a time. I was in Germany for a while and missed Austin enough to cut my trip short. It's a really great place to live, especially if you are a people person. The girls here are really hot and it's been voted the #1 city in the US for singles. Lots to do, lots of year round swimming stuff, bunch of lakes, bunch of live music, and we welcome fans of any team at the football tailgates. The one bad thing is the heat. It gets old, but I think of it this way...I would much rather it be 100 outside than -20. You can't do sh*t when it's that cold, but once you get acclimated the heat doesn't stop anyone from just about any activity. I don't like Dallas, too LA'ish. Houston is ok, but the humidity. The traffic actually seems better this year, and light rail is set to begin if it hasn't already. Very clean city, and almost billboard free. I have lived in just about every part of town, and there's not really too much of a 'bad area'.
