Check out the 2004 draft. Hurricanes went 5, 6, 12, 17, 19, and 21. Much more impressive.
Obviously 6 in Rd 1 >5 in Rd 1 but I'm not sure how you can say 5,6,12,17,19,21 is much more impressive than 3,4,10,16,20.
3 in the top 10, which is better than '04 Miami, and 5 in the top 20, which is the same as '04 Miami.
You can draw arbitrary lines at 10 or 20, but that is arbitrary: whay not 12 or 21? A round is a round. Six is more than five.
Ah, so if I have guys go 1,2,5 and you have guys go 4,7,10,26 yours is "much more impressive"? After all, 4 > 3.
Obviously, this is all opinion. There's not going to be a right or wrong answer. Both are impressive. Miami's more so. I just think it's crazy to act like Miami's is so far superior.
The big difference I see is a lot of Miami Hurricane players made good pros in their hay day but recently with Ohio State and Alabama's dominance, their pro's aren't turning out that well and they both have multiple 1st round picks go every year.
