Ultimately if they are forced to keep the pick, who is it??

That’s the million dollar question. The local guy here that’s dialed in says its Murray, Bosa, or trade the pick. He’s usually spot on. So I’ll go with one of those 3 options. ?

Nobody knows. Anyone that claims they do, is blowing smoke.

The only people that know are a handful of people in the organization. And what they do might depend on the market. They are playing this close to the vest to drive up offers. What they can get by trading down vs what they can get for Rosen. We might not know until right before the pick is made.

AZ has been brilliant with how they have played this. Even the local guys here that are dialed into the organization have no clue what they are up to.

Really? I think they've played it horribly. Flirting with replacing your franchise QB and then not replacing him could have lasting consequences.

Maybe someone comes with a great offer and it ends up netting them a lot but I doubt Rosen likes being in limbo. And someday the rabbit may have the gun or the tables may be turned. There is a reason not too many teams flirt with replacing their QB and then don't do it.

I think you are assuming too much.

How do you know they haven't sat Rosen down and told him to just play along and this is all a smoke screen?

Or how do you know they are 99.9% sure they are drafting Murray and don't give a shit what Rosen thinks since he's gone anyway?

If either is the case, your points really wouldn't matter.

You really think that happened? Seems doubtful but I guess it is possible. And yes, if he was getting traded then it is all moot.

But the first part to your post seems like a leap.

You really think that is far fetched? Sit your franchise QB down and say play along, we want to drive up the price of this #1 pick because we want to flip it into more assets. Only way to do that is to make people think you are interested in Murray. Did that happen? No clue. I'm just saying if AZ has had no intention to ever draft Murray and wanted to set up a smoke screen, wouldn't it make sense to make sure your guy knew your true intentions?

Now 2 days ago a report comes out that AZ is no longer interested in Murray and they will be drafting Bosa. Why? In case someone has fallen in love with him and wants to move up. False info gets leaked out to the national media all the time. You can't believe anything that is ever reported this time of year when it comes to the NFL.

Not impossible but doubtful. Didn't Rosen remove all the team logos off his social media and say he didn't enjoy being in limbo?

I dunno, maybe give him an Academy Award. Guess we'll never know.

In any case, Rosen has been great through this whole thing. Either with his acting job, or his professionalism.

I think AZ has known from the beginning which way they wanted to go on this. But they are bringing this thing down to the wire before they show their hand. To this point they have only fielded calls for Rosen and/or the #1 pick. They have yet to pick up the phone and initiate anything of substance. As soon as they do, that shows their hand to the entire league because it will spread like wildfire.

They are just flat out dumb to get rid of Rosen which I don’t think they will.

i think they would be ecstatic to trade the pick but no one wants to give up a bunch to move up as no one is worth it. This is sort of like the 2013 draft with Eric fisher. Chiefs wanted to trade but couldn’t.

I think they take the full 15 and take bosa. Their best move would be to fleece the raiders and go from 1 to 4 but with al Davis dead that won’t happen...if al Davis were alive he would move from 4 to 1 and take Haskins. He always loved big tall black stupid quarterbacks. That was his thing.

Everyone told him he woul suck and he took him... the reasoning was great.

he loved him because he could take a knee and throw it 70 yards.

No one throws a pass 70 yards anyway as there isn’t enough time. And umm. He is down if he were on a knee.

that year. #2 pick: Calvin Johnson. #3 pick. Joe Thomas. #7 pick. Adrian Peterson.

Al Davis loved Darius Hayward bey because of his speed. Dude has been on like 4 nfl teams. And Davis made him a top 10 pick and 1st receiver taken.

Davis drafted more shitty white QB’s than black. Marc Wilson and Todd Marinovich ring any bells? You’re dumb as fuck
