Draft thoughts...

TE class is loaded. Bit of everything depending on fit. Good in line and off line options. Solid all around guys, Solid blocking guys, Solid two TE guys. Hard to rank TE RB WR as it depends on what you are looking for...

Kincaid
Kuntz
Washington
La Porta
Musgrave
Mayer
Schoonmaker
Allen
Whyle
Patterson

RB class is loaded. 3 down guys, Inside guys, Zone guys, Duel guys has a bit of everything depending what a team is looking for the options are there.

Robinson
Gibbs
Spears
Brown
Miller
Johnson
Charbonnett
Achane
Evans
Tucker
Prince
Mitchell

WR is weak from elite talent guys. A bucket of good quality guys especially slot gadget guys. Good true X guys are bit thin from elite wise.

Guys getting almost no exposure or little talk
Wheaton WVU
Perry WFU
Mingo Ole Miss
Landers Arkansas
Bobo UCLA
Johnson ECU
Higgins Stanford
Tillman Tennessee
Hutchinson Iowa St
Mims Oklahoma

QB is trash this year.

Duggins is getting no talk. If teams are transitioning to this RPO heavy stuff he is a good late flyer.

Fun Wild Mock. Toss in some madness and against the grain Takes from the talking heads. Chop it up for something different.

1. Panthers Stroud QB. Ohio St

Lots of Young backers but CJ size fits more the McCown and Reich molds imo. Has the arm, size and pocket presence Frank and the boys will covet. Media will spin Young and even Richardson as prospects going 1. But the WWF, wait the NFL, loves scripted drama and ratings. So the hush hush has been set in place to build speculation and doubt. All the way up to draft night. Never trust a hooker and never trust a QB from Ohio St. And never trust the NFL when they say Dwayne Haskins wasn't drunk and high and his toxic manipulating gold digging GF didn't play a part in that accident.

2. Texans Anderson ED. Saban University
Huge shocker on draft day. Media is going nuts over this pick. Texans have draft capital to move back up. All talking heads say Young or Stroud here. Anderson can't be taken trading back up. Too many QB already teams behind them. Texans have to be iffy on the size of Young. Passing on QB will set alarms off on other teams. Making them question if Texans saw something in Young or Richardson. Texans get cute waiting on a trade back up team potential. Fact is no matter what the media and Mel Kipers of the world say alongside every podcast, Nobody knows what to make of these Qbs this year. When 26 year old Hendon Hooker and that Baylor offense garners top 5 pick. It's a clue nobody loves any of these QBs or what to make of them. Mr Ryan gets him a corner piece for his defense in what the consensus says is the number 1 player in draft.

3. TRADE Colts Richardson QB. Florida
Levis and Richardson fit the QB molds of Herbert and Hurts the coaching staff has familiarity with. Colts pass on the media smitten Young. Small Trade up. Pass on Young! Kiper jr goes nuts. Mcshay is hammered in the booth and Colts owner Irsay is too drunk popping pills with Jeff Saturday and some strippers to notice what happened on passing up Young. Its outrage by socail media as SJW demand that size is not a choice!

4. Cards Gonzalez CB. Oregon
Cards get too greedy for trade compensation miss out on big trade down. Long Athletic West Coat CB brings elite spped and help on the outside. Cards had their hearts ripped out by Texans taking Anderson. Raiders Bucs and Titans all eyeing Richardson. Colts offer up cheaper deal 2023 3rd 5th and 2024 2nd to get ahead of any possible teams. Cards take small trade back offer allowing blue chip potential and possible another trade offer. Should pick up maybe a 3rd probably a 4th for Dhop before or during draft. Cards in complete rebuild still get elite player at 4th and stocking draft capital. Texans cock blocked them on the Anderson pick. Now stuck with a Midget at QB that every media outlet said pay the man. They did. Now a new GM and Coach are like fuck this shit! Rebuild time in the desert.

5. Seahawks Wilson DE. Texas Tech
Sea Chickens always go against the grain. Take a flyer on the big straight line bull rush freak. Few folks pound the table in the war room for Young. But his fall continues. Bubble Gum Pete ain't no spring chicken. Team is built to win 2023-2024. Once again the the Big 12 will try and justify they have legit defensive high caliber players in the Big 12. Never trust a Ohio st Qb, Left handed Qb or Big 12 defensive players. Bubble Gum Pete and the boys never draft to the East of the Mississippi river anyway.

6. Lions Van Ness DE. Iowa
Lions reach on the edge kid who provides 3 technique upside on a line that needs a bit of help inside. Versatile Iowa boy pairs with Hutch killing two birds one stone. Get duel edge rush guys and one who can kick inside on passing downs allowing another edge piece to get on the field. This will draw Grasps from the media and talking heads. But they will immediately justify it as a great pick and something they considered themselves. Because its what they do best. Hard to go wrong with Iowa football players. Not to mention this dude fits the mold of Dan Campbells type players.

7, TRADE Texans Young QB. Saban University
Raiders take the bait and Houston looks like a genius. Sending 33rd pick and 4th to Raiders and 2024 comp. Raiders send a 5th back along with a Case of weight gainer, Get Well card and a pair of crutches for Young.

8. Falcons Porter CB. Penn St
The draft darling CB witherspoon is passed up. Dirty birds pair the long press cover Porter with AJ on the other side. Porter makes a jump as talking heads 17-24 range projections get proven wrong. Porter brings a good clean head and great off the field characteristics. Something needed in Hotlanta. A late night waffle house shooting is a concern for anyone on the dirty birds. Big Tall Strong Press man that comes with some NFL DNA already.

9. Bears Carter DT. Georgia
Bears still walk away with the 3 tech they need. Kid is a red flag all up and down the board. Bears still fall in love with the media hype failing to realize the tape ain't that good alongside loaded blue chippers. Diapers and Uber driver will be needed babysitting this privileged huge red flag risk. Lazy and hard to coach typical UGA players. Bears trade best LB Smith top 5 LB in league for a 2nd rd pick. Then trade their own 2nd which would have been pick 32 for WR Claypool who could of been had for cheaper this year. Then go out an pay a weaker LB and another LB 120 million for the pair. Making Edmuds the highest paid LB in the game. Trade the better LB because he wanted a pay raise to sign another LB 5 months later more than what it would have cost to keep the LB they drafted. This team will do more dumb things. Carter it is...

10. Eagles Smith ED. Georgia
Howie gambles on the edge piece built off speed and lateral ball pursuit. Eagles have the veteran pieces to groom the youngster. Luxury pick so Eagles go for a big splash.

11. Titans Levis QB. Kentucky
New GM brings in a Tennessee culture fit to sit for a year. Trade back would be ideal for weak draft capital team with some holes and New GM. But QB it is. Some Tennessee Dukes Mayo in the coffee on the sideline and a clipbaord for 7 weeks to learn behind Tanny and a shit offensive line. Before being thrusted in. Fits the Tennessee culture and mold. Big Arm and has some mobility just not Josh Allen like every media head says because he is white and has a big arm and lacks accuracy they say. Kid can spin the ball. Great HS tape back in the day. Product of a poor vanilla Kentucy offense otherwise his stats would garner more attention.

12. Raiders Witherspoon CB. Illinois
Al and the boys are set on riding Jimmy Two Crutches, pass on QB option at 7 and grab the CB they probably took anyway at 7. Defense is a hot mess out there. Should fall in line with other raiders and find an arrest warrant by week 13 when team is 4-9. Illinois was loaded in secondary. Hard to gauge but the media suddenly loved this kid a month ago.

13. Jets Johnson T. Ohio St
Jets reach for the LT with Guard and RT experience for insurance to the O line holes. LT big Beck should go down with turf toe by week 4. Johnson can man the LG and swing to LT. Brings some RT ability for Jets to mix n match the line. Skoronski was available and probably the better fit.

14. TRADE Bucs Jones LT. Georgia
Bucs reach up for a LT and pass over the best O line in the draft because he has T rex arms. Get the raw probably a flop career journeyman who goes to RT, Lil Bill continues the trade down round 1 streak to 16 consecutive years. Bucs surrender a 6th and Carl Swanson a 4 year practice squad special teams gunner. Lil Bill loves this trade and the rest of the world just says WTF. Swanson will be brought in to be the new place kicker holder and to run the Equipment room as Lil Bill sees tremendous upside and versatility in Swanson. Somebody had to trade up so went with Bucs

15. Packers JSN WR. Ohio St
A Rod has left the building and with a middle finger the pack draft a WR in round 1 for first time since maybe J Walker out of FSU in 1999. Everyone keeps thinking TE here is an option but GB hasn't utlized a TE since Finley. It was painful not reaching for another defensive player for the 13th year in a row. They love UGA guys so someone was probably pounding the table for Ringo CB UGA in the war room. Best WR since sliced bread who didn't play all year because of a 4 month Hamstring injury. Screams Michael Thomas down in New Orleans another former Buckeye WR who hasn't caught a ball in 3 years because of a toe injury.

16 Redskins (always will be redskins) Skoronski LT. Northwestern
Hogs grab a hog and maybe the best all around lineman in the draft. Can play LT but has serious pro bowl opportunity at LG and even Center if need be. His T rex arms scare too many folks. But can give it a go at LT but slide inside to LG, gives a guy who can kick back to LT if need be versatility. Believe 43 year old Leno is the LT so nice gap filler pick.

17. Steelers Banks CB. Maryland
Tomlin wants a hog at tackle but address youth at CB and eye a big hog pick 32. Still plenty of Hogs to be had later. Big fast CB to give a boost into the secondary.

18. Lions Washington TE. Georgia
Lions draft a 6th O Lineman for Ben Johnson the OC to get cute with. Best O line in football just got another piece who just so happens to be able to catch. Lions may run for days with this addition. This is the reach and shocker but perfect fit.

19. Patriots Kincaid TE. Utah
Lil Bill loves having TE's who get paid to block. He had 35 million wrapped up in Smith and Henry last year. Smith hasn't seen a football in two years since Mr. do it all left the Titans. 23% of Pats salary cap was two TE's last year who were asked to play tackle. Patriots tried trading back down again for a 7th and a water girl with 38 inch hips and A cups but no suitors available. Now a perfect more off ball bruiser comes to town. To seal the the 7 and 9 technique and block alongside Henry. John Davis Center for Navy and Billy Joe Lewis Kick Returner with 5.12 speed were Lil Bill's dream picks but the war room had to reason with him next round Bill!

20. Seahawks Schmitz C. Minnesota
Bubble Gum Pete does Seattle things once again. Lots of Talent in the SEC and east coast players. Sea Chickens stay true to their love of west coast and mid west guys. Nothing screams a Seattle pick like a guy Named John Michael Schmitz. C fits a big need and the big hog is a good one. Minnesota is definitely they type of school Seattle targets.

21, Chargers Robinson RB. Texas
Finally get a bell cow. Despite the flashy stats Eck has, it limits the ability of the team. Should have drafted Hall or Walker last year. Team still has holes on other areas but the bell cow back will make a bad OL better and give a good 1-2 punch with Eck. Plus they don't have to resign Eck for his 12 million a year he wants.

22. Ravens Johnson WR. TCU
Ravens desperately want to trade back for draft capital but no partners. Steelers called but Harbaugh immediately hung up the phone. Toss a new big tall fast play toy to Lamar hoping to get him back for one more year.

23. TRADE Steelers Jones RT. Ohio St
Steelers look to jump the bills and bengals for a tackle. Tomlin is dying for some tackle help and smitten over the Midway Monster Jones. Limited to RT but Tomlin gets the absolute unit who is a bit raw but just too big to pass up and help open up the offense.

24. Jaguars Murphy DE. Clemson
Jags in a pickle with needs at CB OT OG ED. Dougie is pounding the table for some OL help in the war room, Fist fight breaks out in this war room draft day. So many needs and pieces sitting there the room is a brawl. Clemson wins out and joins the band down in Jacksonville with Murphy.

25. TRADE Cards Wright T. Tennessee
Cards loaded up with extra picks after Dhop Trade and Colts deal. Swing back up into the 1st for a premium tackle. Jerry and the Boys move back to discuss what to gamble on and buy more time for Jerry to push for an Arkansas player.

26. Giants Ringo CB. Georgia
G men have too many holes. No real X WR and 13 gadget slot guys. No center no real Guard depth and thin at LB, No mans land G men go CB gamble on the upside potential of yet another UGA player. This team was nowhere near as good as the record last year.

27. Bills Campbell LB. Iowa
Bills in a shocker grab the Iowa LB to shore up the defense. And walk away with a pro bowler by end of the season. Talking heads are confused by this pick but it turns out the right call. A new shiny play toy at WR or some OL help was tempting. But Dhop is on the way

28. Bengals Johnson S. Texas AM
Ole Lou is confident he can teach this kid up and be a better tackler. Absolute freak who the size and speed to man up on the outside or slot or TE. A safety and CB all in one. Lou is confident he can get the player on the field to add pieces back to his drop 8 do all CB/SS/FS system.

29. Saints Breese DT. Clemson
BPA on Saints board gives the DL some extra help.

30. Eagles Bergeron T. Syracuse
Birds invest in a grooming prospect and depth for the aging line with maybe Kelce and Johnson on the way out next year. Powerful mauling tackle is a long time LT who can have the ability to play all over Eagles line year one. Howie loves meat and potatoes DL AND OL guys round 1.

31. Chiefs Harrison T. Oklahoma
SB Champs close it out with a backyard product and LT who is nimble just lacks nasty. When in doubt ole Andy loves the Hogs up front. Gibbs would have been a nice play toy. Nobody knows and neither do the chiefs if new RT Taylor goes to the left or if the slide a rookie LT out there, keeping Taylor at RT natural home. Andy and the boys aren't scared to play rookies on the hog line.

Green Room guys who are left hanging for day 2 who had round 1 hype

Mayer TE. Just not sexy enough and all the media hype train strikes out and misses on the number 1 TE going as high as 15 by many

Branch S. Just to thin and bit a tweener to get RD 1 love

Kancey DT. Donald hype is too much. Just under 6 foot a tuff sell for a RD1 guy. Playing at Pitt doesn't mean Donald Jr is a sure thing

Flowers WR Addison WR. Take your pick but these WR are in a weak class but filled with good players everywhere. It's all about fit and what a team wants or needs at WR.

There are dozens of knucklehead Jalen Carter types in this draft, he just got "caught".

Sure, his interviews with teams and other information they might uncover on his character might eliminate him from being a top 5-10 pick, that is for the teams to determine.

But he is not alone.

I say he will go to the Bears, maybe earlier to Seattle or somebody.

He isn’t easy to coach or deal with on field. Always been good enough to get by show up just play. UGA will baby players down there. That’s the big concern imo. That stuff tends to lead to problems next level. A veteran team is best for players like that. A team like the eagles with Cox and Graham etc to keep him in check show him the ropes.

Sure all the coaches and players say he is a great guy. It’s what they have to say.

The driving incidents aren’t good but I’d be more worried about the on field character. He looked sloppy at his pro day. Out shape two months after season is a bad sign.

Even outside that the on field play I just don’t see this incredible talent. Two years ago he looked pretty good but was alongside a ton of big talent. He gets lazy and holds no leverage a lot. Stands up too much just using hands.

A lot of times the media just runs with what they hear. Somebody said he was so good so they just agree

Daniel Jeremiah and Drunk Todd Mc Shay both had Alex Leatherwood best Tackle and top 5 pick two years ago as a junior. Next year as combine rolls around they drop him a bit. Then say a bit of a reach raiders take him at 19. Now their top 5 player in the draft is suddenly great just not elite. And now he couldn’t cut itvas LT RT or RG for raiders and goes to worse o line in the bears and still can’t sniff the field. Point is talking heads just say what everyone else says. Change opinions to fit situation not to be wrong. Maybe I’m in the huge minority but I just don’t think carter is elite as everyone says.

Seattle would be a good fit but they don’t draft past the Mississippi River and aren’t one to go for few red flag traits guy since that backfired a couple times recently.

Lions be a good fit. But how they determine character idk.

Bears or eagles probably as far as he falls. But a consensus number 1 falling to 9 or 10 says either off field or on field concerns are there and maybe he wasn’t the elite player people said he was

Personally I find UGA players overrated a lot. They don’t spit out the elite players like they should who go round 1. Stokes Campbell Davis ojulati Wilson (perfect example RT titans pick out of league basket case) Baker (another example basket case) Wyatt etc etc. way more misses than hits under Kirby guys. UGA seems to have over valued players imo the past 5 years especially.

A Georgia fanatic football alum I know very well says Carter is ok —- my friend is often very critical of some of the GA players over the years.

I do not want to go point by point on what you wrote but I think you are not entirely accurate with several of your statements.

Cool fill us in on carter per your insight friend who is football alum

How is his leverage or gap technique or how does he stack up vs other Georgia players of recent. What makes him so unique and great that all the media have said since last year. Be cool to hear some good info on carter. I’d appreciate the Nuggets and insider take on the kid.

I see more & more believing Carolina will take Anthony Richardson
Its always possible they do. I have a hard time seeing it. I think to Texans at 2 is the wildcard play.

Just doesn't fit the mold of Reich and McCown and other coaching staff guys. Stroud does more than AR.

This time of year the NFL is WWF. Scripted drama and the media needs talking points and views. So of course they say this stuff to drum up talking points. Carolina knows exactly who they want but the NFL won't allow them to say because it needs eyes on the speculation.

End of the day all these scouts and expert draft guru media guys have no idea. These so called experts can't even ever get the best QB in the draft right each year.

look at the past first QB drafted the past 10 years. Granted team and scheme etc can help or hurt any player being good or a bust. Lots of Grey area in drafting and ranking players.

EJ Manuel
Bortles
Winston
Goff
Trubisky
Mayfield
Murray
Burrow
Lawrence

Some good value on few of these

Draft always nuts but I mentioned in first post this thread few bold takes

Anderson at 2
Witherspoon I’m just not buying the hyper top cb
Campbell into rd 1 top LB

Few decent odds on those 3.

Campbell top LB
Anderson 2 or 3 can take both
Gonzalez or even porter top cb

WR’s Bold takes and Chatter.

PFF the guru draft talking heads have zero of these players in their top 10.

My Value
Mingo Ole Miss Rd 2
Perry Wake Forest Rd 2
Tillman Tennessee Rd 2
Wheaton West Virginia Rd 2
Hutchinson Iowa st Rd 2

Mingo is more the screen/short/inside guy to batter around. Shades of AJ Brown and Deebo. SF Miami KC type system good fit. Get the ball in space and Quick guy. Physical and strong player. Jet sweep, bubble, slant guy. 8-9 touches tuff 80 yards type guy

Perry is the most Randy Moss like skill set. Buffalo Cincinnati Arizona type system good fit. Big arm more active deep passing scheme fits. QB like midget Murray who will feed deep fades. 1 on 1 jump ball nightmare. Super fast, super rangy, good hands with great height. Not super physical. A 9 catch 120 2 td guy. Can be useful short out balls much the Moss roll in Minnesota. The guy isn’t Randy but shades of his game fwiw.

Tillman is steady Eddie. Pickens/Hollins/Lazard. Good size decent speed. Better close quarters style guy. Work the boundaries. Has the vibes of Mcaffery or Decker type play and games from the Denver days.

Wheaton is a freak. DK meets Julio meets Mike Evans. Best bets are working him in space and boundaries jump balls. Big strong super fast. Will probably look like a Tank by year 3 NFL. Not your 9 catch 140 type guy. More the 4 catch 160 2td guy. Good sideline awareness jump ball guy.

Hutchinson not your burner deep guy. Mike Willams/ Allen Lazard shades. Denver GB Seattle type systems good fits. Good hands and size. Big and strong but plays more conservative. Can work the outside throw and high balls. Decent intermediate over middle. Has an Anarii Cooper feel as a 9 catch 80 yards chain mover.

I favor bigger more X Wr’s. The 5 above are Day two and 3 guys I feel are undervalued. Which I’m way higher on.

Jitter Bugs! Dime a dozen and super dependent on scheme. Round 3-4 these guys are everywhere.

Downs UNC needs more hype. A slot nightmare. Most intriguing to me.

Mims Oklahoma nobody giving much talk about him. He has slot and outside ability. Flying way further under the radar than I expected.

Scott Cincinnati was outside guy but should transition inside next level.

Jitter Bugs I would list Mims the guy to be a potential breakthrough guy who goes later in draft. Has the Marquises Brown Oklahoma vibes.

Bold takes! Real Bold..... If the WR class was better I’d say these are far more possible outcomes. But it’s pretty trash per the high value guys imo. Way better talent outside top 10 guys imo

Mingo end of RD 1 Seahawks trade up
Perry end of RD 1 to the Bills
Mims to The Chiefs RD 2
Wheaton to the Giants Eagles Bills RD 2
Hutchinson to Denver pick 67 has that possession type Michael Thomas vibe Payton likes to dink n dunk to. Not sure Payton likes the guys in Denver smell a draft day trade

Mingo avg 12th WR RD 3-4
Wheaton avg 20th WR RD 4-6
Perry avg 14th WR RD 3-5
Mims avg 11th WR RD 3-5

4 most intriguing potential gems in the draft at WR via projected ranks and round.

Teams I expect move Down...

Cardinals Most likely
Titans
Patriots Always fucking do
Ravens Most likely
Vikings Most Likely
Bucs
Eagles
Cowboys

Teams I expect trade up...

Raiders
Titans If a QB slides otherwise prime trade back team
Lions Capital to get cute
Seahawks Capital to get cute
Steelers

Possible Teams Eyeing Robinson RB
Bills
Bengals
Chargers
Lions
Cowboys

Need to get ahead of pick 18. Patriots at 14 or Bucs 19 fit as realistic trading partners. If Robinson falls outside top 13. Teams will need to get ahead of those others

Steelers seem sneaky positions to move up at 17 or 32 back into RD 1. Believe they have a few guys they really want on OL and a luxury type D player.

Seahawks and Lions both have good ability to move back into RD 1 to load a draft. And get cute with a splashy pick for immediate or future value.

I feel pretty strongly a Center goes RD 1 and two really solid guys are options. Giants Seahawks Texans Jets Steelers Raiders Cardinals Bears. I think a shocker and two go!

Seahawks can go Center at 20 stay ahead of Giants or trade back up RD 1. Get ahead of Raiders Texans Steelers Cardinals. They have capital to move. Plus cheaper to do so end round 1

Giants next best option. With Bears Cards Raiders Texans Steelers all sitting high RD 2 it’s possible both top center are gone before being able to move up RD 2. Seahawks also sit high RD2 if they pass on Center

Lions have capital to move up
Texans have capital to move up
Raiders have capital to move up
Steelers have capital to move up
Seahawks have capital to move up

Bears Cardinals Colts hold good capital but too many needs to move up unless late late RD1.

Titans need Draft capital
Ravens need Draft capital
Vikings need Draft capital
Eagles need Draft capital

Perfect Trade Partners

Titans new GM needs draft capital at 11 is doable. Team may be in complete their guys mode. Still a decent roster so also UP for QB of future if falls or price is good.

Cardinals at 3 is well known and completely rebuild mode. Hold prime real estate at 3 for QB and may not ask too much for the pick. Board doesn’t fit well and teams know it

I’d wager one of these teams definitely move back.
Ravens at 22
Vikings at 23

Patriots at 14 we all know love trading back. A 6th rounder and bag of footballs probably all it takes.

Few Draft Props

Gonzalez 1st CB +175
Campbell 1st LB +185
Washington 1st TE +1600 (longshot possible)

1st RD pick
Center- Schmitz +170 Shocked at the Value this low.
Center- Tippman +200 Shocked here also.
OT- Jones +360 If in doubt Andy goes OL pick 26-31 doable
RB- Gibbs +375 Best Value imo
WR- Mingo +475 Has legs but wish Value was much higher

If Texans go Anderson Wilson goes 3 or 5. If cardinals can’t get a trade partner for QB 3 seems legit. Seattle and Detroit also makes sense to jump up for little compensation and they both have a bunch.

Pick 3 Wilson +450
Pick 5 Wilson +290

I Truly believe Gonzalez is the better CB over all the Witherspoon love top CB. 6-8 seems prime first CB. If the Witherspoon hype and market is accurate then pick 8 Atlanta has great value.

Pick 6 Gonzalez +450
Pick 7 Gonzalez +275
Pick 8 Gonzalez +1400

I’ve been all on Smith at 8 to Falcons for over a month. The market really gravitated to him at 8 two weeks ago. I’m high on Van Ness and still think Detroit is in play but no odds on either to Detroit. Bears imo should consider either player at 9 also. They need major defense and OL can be had later. It’s also possible Bears takes small step back and a Texans Titans and even the lions or Steelers who both have draft comp value of 400+ points for mid RD 2 which Bears hold no high 2nd RD pick. Plenty of tackles 17-18 range. Lions get choked out on edge they have plenty of firepower to get inside top 10 at 9 or 10. Both players scream Eagles fits imo also. So because the value is just too good it’s possible 1 lands at 9 or 10 maybe both is very realistic.

Pick 9 Smith +1600
Pick 9 Van Ness +1600
Pick 10 Smith +650
Pick 10 Van Ness +950

Top 10 pick

Porter +2500

I’m way higher on him than anybody. At 25-1 fuck it the value is to good. What’s a $10 or $20 bet? Maybe Eagles Falcons Lions get frisky or run on CB starts earlier than expected. Big flyer that’s all.

Smith +200
Van Ness +275

Like the 8-10 range both these player. High of 6 and low of 12.

Team to draft certain players

Mayer TE Jaguars +1800 Eagles +6000.

(Texans +5000 Cardinals +10000 Raiders +10000 Panthers +10000 are super Value for a player who has legit potential to fall out RD 1. His value will be so high Picks 26-35 be hard for teams like Houston or Arizona and even Carolina or Vegas sit high enough RD2 to be in play to pass picks 34 35. For $5-$10 can’t hurt if looking for crazy odds like eagles. Handful of $5 bets anyone top 7 RD 2 could be worth a flyer.)

Smells like a Peterson type TE and if Kincaid is gone Jags get a on line type TE. Eagles love these type players. Sneaky pick maybe 30 if he falls. Definitely says an Eagles player so 60-1 why not. Kincaid and Washington could both go before him. TE is a position certain teams look for different styles and Mayer is not elite. Just solid everything. Kincaid more a Kelce and Mayer more a Witten type player. It’s the best TE class I’ve ever seen so it can easily make him fall)

Robinson RB Bills +3000 Bengals +2200 Chargers +1400.

I could see Bills or Bengals going up to 14-16 to get Robinson. Too good of value for not to toss a Dart. That’s about the sweet spot of possible trade candidate also. Cowboys have to be interested in Robinson. And jumping them would be needed. Odds to short on cowboys but Jerry May get splashy and trade up big or to maybe 19 if gets past 18 lions. Lions are on par with Bolts at +1200 and screams there kind guy. But stacked in backfield. They do have luxury to get him at 18. Teams with multiple rd1 and 2 often move back up for 3rd RD 1. So the luxury is there to go 18 if Lions want. Pass for me but just a case made any onlookers.

Njigba WR Packers +600 Seahawks +1800

Seems 11-12 is the primer spot. Slips a bit GB makes sense. And Seattle could use a player like this. They also have capital to move up a few spots into the 14 range. Steelers Lions Redskns Jets sandwich in between Hawks and Pack but don’t need this position. Can’t see any other team moving up too far for him. Decent odds.

Richardson QB +10000 Bucs

Just too big a number. He could fall or the Bucs May get frisky going up to 11-14 range. It’s possible Texans pass QB all together. And Titans new GM needs draft capital. Jets could move back for OL regrouping Pack Trade Capital. OL will be at 19 and as always Pats Trade Down for anything. I’d imagine this is the range for a Bucs realistic not selling the house options. For a player who can fall past 9 it’s wide open for team like Bucs to get a backyard guy to groom for a year.

Fans will go ape shit if the Texans do not take a QB and they continue to struggle with Mills and Allen, which they probably will, since they still will not have a good supporting cast overall.

Teams are cornered, panic, and take QBs for this reason, to appease the fans, recently Fields, Wilson, Lance, there is a long list.

I agree it would be best for them to trade down and get multiple extra picks and strengthen the team, let another team pay dearly for one of the available QBs.

(though, again, if they take a QB it should be Levis)

Long shots

Picks 8
Skoronski 28-1
Paris 25-1

Atlanta could take one. Skoronski being best fit. However, I feel a trade up likely the Jets maybe the Steelers could entice Atlanta. Jets makes most sense Atlanta doesn’t fall to far and has several options alive at 13.

Nobody is talking the OL guys much but teams are definitely higher than I think we hear. Wright Johnson Skoronski are likely realistic candidates Raiders Falcons Bears Eagles Titans Picks 7-11.

Jets could definitely use either as Johnson has both LT RT experience and could play guard. Several teams have Tackles with questions so a Tackle to guard back to Tackle player makes sense. Thus jets and Steelers fit mold way too much.

Would need to get ahead of Bears definitely. Then Eagles and Titans. Therefore, someone going to 8 may be targeting one of these guys. Value too high and worth a flyer imo. Never know.

Recap Draft props

Round 1 Drafted Player

Schmitz +170
Tippman +200
Jones +360
Gibbs+375
Mingo +475

First Position Drafted Lookin for Longshots value)

First WR Drafted
Johnson +1200
(Best big body WR amongst a galaxy of midget slots. Has plenty of slot work himself fwiw. Surprises happen. It’s JSN or QJ imo. Odds too juicy)

First TE Drafted
Washington +1600
(Absolute freak. Lions at 18 intriguing to me. Teams love freaks and potential in RD1. Kincaid and Mayer have no sure fire do it all elite TE traits)

First LB Drafted
Campbell +175
(No great value but guy is a stud. By 2026 I see people asking how was he not top 15 pick.)

First OL Drafted
Jones +1400
(Has legs just off Value if no OL taken inside top 10 it shows serious differences in teams evaluations of top OL. Skoronski is considered guard yet tackle by other teams. Jones is Raw but more true LT with RT upside which could put him more team preferences)

Player Drated at Exact Pick (More longshots value)

Pick 5 Wilson +290
Pick 3 Wilson +475

Pick 7 Gonzalez +275
Pick 8 Gonzalez +1400

Pick 8 Smith +1600
Pick 9 Smith +1600
Pick 10 Smith +650

Pick 8 Van Ness +1600
Pick 10 Van Ness +950

Team to Draft Certain Player(Value only again)

Team to Draft Mayer
Jags +1800
Eagles +6000

Team to Draft Njigba
Packers +600
Seahawks +1800

Team to Draft Robinson
Bills +3000
Bengals +2200
Chargers +1400

Team to Draft Johnson
Chargers +1800
Lions +1800
Seahawks +2500

Team to Draft Richardson
Bucs +10000

Add.....
(Just a gut feeling but Jets/Steelers are two teams I think may move up for OL and Bears Falcons are good Trade partners. I think Steelers are Smitten with Wright and Jets Skoronski or Johnson. However, Skoronski is a great fit in Atlanta and still in play. Gut says Bears and Falcons May want to slide back makes sense especially the Bears)

(Lions are sneaky Trade back team if Stroud falls to 6. I could see Raiders Titans Texans as partners which still puts Detroit in position to get several guys that fit needs back to 11. I already expect Seattle or Detroit with soo much capital to enter back in RD 1 for 3rd pick. If Lions Trade out 6 pending Stroud slides or even AR. They can walk away with a draft of epic talent loaded with picks. If Anderson Carter Wilson find their way into top 5 lions will miss out and though the entire world has Witherspoon to 6. A trade back 1-5 spots can bring a haul and still have Witherspoon there.)

Pick 2 Anderson +270
Pick 5 Carter +575
Pick 6 Stroud +1800 (maybe trade up spot)
Pick 6 Van Ness +6000
Pick 8 Johnson +2500 (Maybe Trade up)
Pick 8 Skoronski +2800 (Maybe Trade up)
Pick 8 9 Wright +3500 (Maybe Trade up)

Total RB Rd 1
Over 1.5 +150

Total TE Rd 1
Over 2.5 +145

Total WR Rd 1
Under 3.5 +110

Teams I except have legit trade down possibilities inside Top 10

Cards with Raiders Titans most likely (QB) Target
Cards with Lions Eagles has legs (Big 3 DL) Target
Lions with Raiders Titans Texans (QB) Target
Falcons with Titans Jets Steelers (QB OL) Target
Bears with Jets Steelers (OL) Target

Detroit and Atlanta both sit in a good spot to slide back. So many good options for both teams that make sense. They wouldn’t miss out on much. Chicago probably desperate for either a 2nd or capital to trade to move up into 2nd rd higher. 3 picks 53-60 is huge gap between 9-53 for team needing a lot.)

Just my thoughts to help see a path to value on guys you wouldn’t expect go say 6 7 8 9. Example Wright OT Steelers May be high on and need to jump teams like Titans Eagles Jets Patriots Redskins who could all be in market for OT. Or Stroud to 9 if he fell the odds at 9

Team Position Drafted (looking for realistic longshots value)

Chiefs RB +2500
(Gibbs could be in play. Wicked speed and pass catcher. Chiefs love speed and pass catcher. Last 2-3 picks RD1 teams get splashy)

Cowboys LB +2000
(Arkansas Jerry Boy Sanders. Jerry loves his Hogs. Cowboys are potential trade back RD2 also. Which increases value of Sanders)

Bills TE +1400
Bills RB +2000
(The draft position holds up or down potential and the player pool off value matches the range. TE or RB offer good options in bills draft range)

Value way to good not to add to the list

Darnell Wright 70-1 to go pick 8.
Broderick Jones 70-1 to go 8.

I just can’t help but think Steelers are on the move up board. They already swindled the bears. Now can work with them again

Steelers hold a very high capital pick in number 32. 17 and 49 to move up inside the top 10 for OL. If they covet OL like they should, then they need to get ahead of

Redskins
Jets
Patriots
Titans
Eagles
Bears

Those are potential OL teams. And Wright Jones Skoronski Johnson are the big 4. It’s risky hoping they fall.

Falcons Bears Titans are teams likely to go after trade back. Titans could move up also.

If Steelers covet OL they may have to trade way up early to get a guy

With pick 32 they can easily trade back to regain extra picks round 3,4,5 and still have a 2nd rd pick.
