My playoff GOY: Carolina -3 vs Cards

Carolina should be undefeated, but they know they would never have smelled a super bowl ring if they went undefeated. They know the mighty Patriots couldn't win a SB going undefeated, so how could they.

Carolina performed well in the 1st half, but up 31-0, they absolutely laid down in the 2nd half.....theyve done this twice before this season......once against the Colts on Monday night & another against the Giants. Carolina didn't want to get anyone injured or blow their wad come 2nd half, hence Seattles comeback.

Seattle was a great 2nd half wager......didnt get a chance to post it. Carolina is on a mission, & don't believe otherwise!

The Cards had their hands full in a Gbay team that didn't show much of a defense. Cards are 5-0 at home in the playoffs, but this game won't be at home. Carolina 9-0 at home this season will continue their dominance on both sides of the ball.

The only X factor i see for the Cards is Bruce Arians......hes a great coach & definitely way better the Ron Rivera.......but in big games, you need the players too, & i think Carolina has the better players.

Carolina 27-23 final

Carolina ML (-170)..........(XX-Large).......(XX-Large)........double my big wager.......dont like pushes when I bet big, hence my ML play

Will be back with the other game as well...............

I like Carolina too, I think (it is still so early, but that is my sense).

I think the NE line is good value for Denver (a home dog/great D getting 3, maybe 3.5), but it is hard for me to imagine the Manning offense keeping up with Brady. I may just pass (I am also a Pats fan which, although it means I know the Pats well, it can cloud my judgement). The UNDER is tempting, but because the Pat's may abandon any pretense of a run game and just spread it out, run hurry up and throw the ball 50 times. Moreover, Manning is a shell of himself still and the Pat's D is good -- could see strip sacks and picks which can lead to field position and points.

So I am concflicted on that game, but I do like Carolina.

Big revenge game for Brady.........Denver beat Brady & the Pats on Sunday night in the snow up in Denver.......Pats had a nice lead & they folded like a cheap tent. Brady & Belichick haven't forgotten that game. I am all over the Patriots as well.

Adding:

Patriots -3 at Denver

Patriots havent forgotten about that Sunday night game up in Denver where the Pats held a comfy lead only to see it slip away........Manning didn't look bad against the Steelers.....it was his receivers dropping passes most of the game that didn't help Mannings numbers & how he looked. Pitt had a chance to march down the field but fumbling the ball & giving it back to Manning isn't the cure to winning a game.

If the Patriots don't turn the ball over, they will win this game. Patriots looked decent vs the Chiefs......& i think we see a great game between what is the 2 best Qbs of all time.....well, at least 2 of the top 5 of all time.

Patriots 34-31 final

Patriots ML (-165)........(XX-Large)

Im not a bettor that simply plays all dogs hoping to win money. I cap the game, & when i find an advantage, I bet it, whether its a fav or dog. I see some guys on here that haven't played a favorite all season, I don't get that.....thats not capping imo.

Only thing that bothers me about the Pats game is this will probably be Mannings last chance at winning another ring, & thats like a cornered mouse trying to get out. Manning will come out swinging, that I'm sure of.

If I see anything that can sway me from the Pats, I will buy back my Pats play......the ML parlay is in, nothing I can do about it.

Carolina I absolutely LOVE.........just don't see the Cards winning this game.

Love it! You are thinking exactly what I'm thinking. I will be combining both spread + ML on Pats and CAR. Games should run closer than normal and it gives you a little peace of mind in a playoff scenario where oddsmakers have a week to set the lines for 2-4 games. Let's get em!

We lost a heartbreaker to the Pats last time in Houston by a FG. If we both make it to SF for a rematch this time Cam and the Defense will be the difference. Cats 27 Pats 26.

Maybe I'm Confused, And I Don't Mean To Question But:

How Can You Make CAROLINA-3 Your GOY, Yet You Have Them Winning By 4?(Covering by 1)

Then, You Have NE-3 As Another Play, Yet You Have Them Winning By The Line, 3?(Push)

Maybe I'm Lost, But I Couldn't Make A Bet, More Less A GOY PLAY On A Team That I Was Predicting Would COVER BY 1 Point
Or A Bet On A Team That I Thought Was Going To End Up As A Push/Cancel.

Does it matter if a team covers by 1 point or 30? a cover is a cover.......then again, did you read what ii bet?? I took ML in both games, which if you're reading between the lines, it means I could care less if both teams win by 1 point.

I predicted Carolina would win 24-20 last week........well the final was 31-24........& I made Carolina a big play.

I dont understand why people that have big plays think the team they're backing will win 55-10 or something to that extent.....reality is, thats not reality!

So if Carolina does win 27-23, don't they cover the -3?? Yes they do!

A cover is a cover, & no matter what anyone says, its a win & puts money in my pocket.

In Colorado, anything goes.......Manning should smoke the real stuff if it will hep him throw better. I don't think it can make him throw any worse.

Are you saying the Pats had the better defense last year over Seattle? The better defensive teams tend to do better as we progress in these final games......but the Pats will be too much for Manning & Denver to handle in the end.

Denver looked simply pathetic vs a Steelers team that has a swiss cheese defense. Mannings arm looks like a noodle throwing the ball.....go Patriots!
