playing cincinnati plus the points with a 1/4 of it on the moneyline.
playing buffalo and oakland under the total.

giants in unfamiliar territory as a big chalk. they thrived in the underdog role last season. now their lines are starting to place them in the 'nfl elite' category and i just dont buy that. cincinnati capable of imploding - that's understood going in. but a regression to the mean for both teams is likely in order here and if that happens this is a single digit game where the bengals will have a shot to win it in the fourth quarter.

oakland looked like a respectable football team last week because they committed to running the football. both teams with respectable defenses (not overly concerned with the oakland week one result as that one simply got away from them and the offense put them in bad spots). bills should feature a heavy dose of lynch against his hometown team. despite the fact that buffalo is 2-0, their passing game is still conservative. edwards has been efficient but unspectacular. expecting this one to be a little closer than most expect with buffalo getting a 19-13 kind of win.

Agree with the raider game being close. I am thinking of teasing the raiders and getting + double digits~approx.16-19.

Would you worry about their offense putting them in bad spots and Bills taking advantage of that and making it a not so close game?

I like a teaser in the oak/buff game but take buff at -3. Oakland making the long journey to the east coast for a 1pm kickoff, bills cover the 3 easily.

I have a lean to the Bengals winning outright too. Base most of my plays on QB and anytime you can get +600 with Palmer against an overrated QB like Eli I will take it.

Not saying its a bad choice that u would take Buff, but do you think the raiders will loose by more than 16-18 points? I know it is possible I am a raider fan and they will always find a way to screw things up. Passing game looks horrible......

I'm a Raiders fan as well....

Obviously they "should" cover 16ish pts but Russell is not looking like a real QB, McFadden isn't 100%, they're playing on the other side of the country, Buffalo is looking to go 3-0 for the first time in years and that place will be ROCKING. Denver put up a 40+ spot on them at home then I can easily See buffalo winning this game 31-7 or somewhere around there.

bills have a habit of settling for field goals on drives that start out as promising. if buffalo completely runs away with this game, id be a little surprised. i think theyll control the game but if i were forced to make some sort of tease bet in this game id grab oakland and the chunk of points before id go with buffalo minus the field goal or so.

PRODIGY: thinking of playing NE over 36.5. i think belichek lets cassel air it out today now that they play a bad 2ndary.

gl. cant say i have any sort of opinion on that total. two teams that are still adjusting to new quarterbacks. might be a boom or bust kind of total. could fly over and make the 36.5 look silly. or you might find yourself grinding out a 14-10 kind of game in the 4th quarter. by all means, hope you hit it if you take that plunge. im on the sidelines.

That writeup you did on Buffalo vs Missouri was genius, and it all came true. I'm trailing you on these, thanks.
