24 players have so far granted me proxy to represent them before the Panama Gaming Commission. Their claims have already been duly notified to the Commission.

The total amount owed is $ 192,782.00.

To bypass smoke screens raised from the Panama Gaming Commission, who has to date acted on behalf of the insolvent Book failing to meet its main scope of control board against unscrupulous operators, 21 represented parties have so far temporarily waived their right to be represented by an Attorney, instructing the Gaming Commission to disclose to their proxy holder any and all information pertaining to alleged reasons of non payment raised by Betpanam.

Due to the Gaming Commission behavior a formal notice of protest , containing details of the situation, has been notified to the highest ranking officials of Panama’s Ministry of Justice, with open request to activate all means deemed appropriate to obtain due cooperation from the Gaming Commission.

As far as personal safety of the proxy holder is concerned, and in consideration of “warnings” received, I have notified the Italian Embassy in Washington, and high ranking officials of the Italian Government of my imminent mission in the Republic of Panama.

To date I see no reason that may support payments to be further withheld other than exposing players to the slow financial agony of Betpanam, as well as I see no legitimate reason for the Panama Gaming Commission to avoid officially being involved in obliging the so far insolvent sportsbook to pay.

However it is a fact that this mission will unveil, once and for all, if Panama may be seen as a trustworthy jurisdiction for online gaming or just another wild west.

I will take this Sunday off. My next post, hopefully containing positive updates or, even better, notice of payments being made will be this coming Monday evening from Panama City, Republic of Panama.

24 players is half of the 49 players rumored to still be owed. All 24 getting paid would be huge. Best of Luck.

Good luck, Roberto. Your demanding payment for the people who didn't send a proxy also, right?
