Newsletter Tracking (through 10/27/2025)

The records here will reflect the lines listed in the newsletters at the time the plays were published. This is for the rated plays, the high-ranking plays, and any type of play worth tracking. There’s no reason to keep track of every bottom-tier or “recommended” play; it’s not worth the work.

Sometimes the newsletters will cheat a little by claiming a different common or later line if it turns a loss into a push or otherwise boosts their record. I’ll usually be able to note what happened to explain the discrepancy.

I’ll also highlight particularly good or bad weekends or short-term runs. I will not include picks from newsletter issues that we don’t get in time.

Starting to color-code the hottest and coldest records. Usually just anything hitting/missing around 70% or more with a reasonable sample. A few more falling into this category this week.

You got to feel sad for Marc Lawrence. His newsletter picks have been much better than his last 11 paid picks, its worth noting as this is a very unusual occurrence for Marc. Will he go to 12 in a row?

I don't keep up with Marc Lawrence's newsletter record so I can't comment on that but here's his late phone record: 0-4 this yr on 5* late phones; 6-7 on 4*; 17-29 on 3*. Overall he's 24-42(had a couple of 2 unit plays, I documented), down over 70 units for the fb season. Down over 47 units in CFB and over 26 units in NFL after last night's game.

Never Lost and Perfect System plays apparently ain't all that.....!

It's kinda sad because Marc Lawrence puts out a fantastic newsletter. Very well researched and thought out. But, as Jimmy Vacarro will tell ya, "Trends and systems don't pay the rent." It's a flawed method.

90% of the guys selling plays aren't winning, certainly not making a living betting their own plays(what they provide to you). It's the worst yr I"ve seen for the "TOUTS" in quite a while and M Lawrence in just another one in a LONG LIST of legacy services that are losing.

This might be the craziest college football season ever. Wasn't Penn State number one in some polls to start the season? NIL and the Transfer Portal have created havoc. It's virtually impossible to predict, particularly if one (ie, Marc Lawrence) is using historical trends as a compass. This year's Vandy squad has absolutely no correlation to Commodore teams of years past. And they ain't the only one.

AI is everything, LOL!!! Y'all can't decipher, if the touts are hot, you play along, if they're cold you fade. It's as simple as that!

Historically he has always hung in there doing this. His late phone Top plays have always historically done well. I just think with the shift in CFB and all of these players and coaches switching teams every year, the trends and angles become irrelevant nowadays almost. Just a gross year for him this year. Sickening actually.

Jimmy Vaccaro is holding a grudge against trends since the computer boys using trends caused him great pain in the 70's. He is and has always been clueless. Very good bookmaker but knows nothing about picking games and how it's done.

What is sickening to all professionals and bookmakers is that favorites went 11-2 in the NFL this week past.
The linesmaker is simply not making the lines high enough. Not that they didn't try, half the games had lines of over a td. But they should have been much higher. The books are still afraid that if they put up bigger lines that the pros will take their profit betting the dogs. They would rather lose to the squares than the pros. Always figuring the clueless will always come back and lose. The problem is THAT IS NOT HAPPENING! If you need validation just look at Draft Kings and the parent of FanDuel's quarterly financials.
