Is Brad Powers not putting picks in his newsletter this year?
Seems you got to buy his VIP service to get his picks. From his first issue of Powers' Ratings:
"In this issue you will find our latest CFB power ratings and our latest
bets. Do note we release many of our plays early to VIP customers. With
each passing year, we have more influence on markets and if getting the ab-
solute best number is important to you, VIP might be worth your while this
season. It is $599. You will receive the picks via email and text. You can
sign up today at bradpowerssports.com. If you want to learn more about
the differences between our weekly newsletter vs VIP service, refer to the
bottom of this page or email
brad@bradpowerssports.com
Keep in mind, this year’s newsletter will just have data info like logs and
power ratings and all the opening bets we made at Circa. No write-ups or
NFL! If you want CFB picks, but can’t afford the $599 VIP, we recommend
betting our power ratings on page 4. For the past seven seasons we have
posted computer projected lines for every game. Games where there was
of difference of more than 3 points saw our computer lines actually
beat the Vegas line at a 468-395-14 (54.2%) clip! That’s pretty solid and
actually better than our own handicapping in some seasons. Keep in mind,
these computer lines don’t take into consideration off-the-field factors like
revenge or flat spots or if there are late-week injuries. They are basically a
power-rating number difference between the two teams that also takes into
consideration the home field advantage."
