Only fair to mention niners going with Sam Darnold, benching Purdy and CMc. And rams also resting Williams, Kupp and Noteboom. Niners locked into 1 seed. Rams 6 or 7 seed. Rivalry game, but coaches bright enough to keep it in check.

Week 18 always tough. BOL 2 all.

Are there any good basketball newsletters like Playbook that focus on trends and angles? They used to do a newsletter for hoops but I guess they stopped?

Mark Lawrence's PB comes out this month, he usually waits until football season is completed, then the newsletter week to week comes out.

Winning Points and Pointwise also have hoops newsletters with angles and info.

Newsletter Tracking (through 01/08/2024)

The records here will reflect the lines listed in the newsletters at the time the plays were published. This is for the rated plays, the high-ranking plays, and any type of play worth tracking. There’s no reason to keep track of every bottom-tier or “recommended” play; it’s not worth the work.

Sometimes the newsletters will cheat a little by claiming a different common or later line if it turns a loss into a push or otherwise boosts their record. I’ll usually be able to note what happened to explain the discrepancy.

I’ll also highlight particularly good or bad weekends or short-term runs. I will not include picks from newsletter issues that we don’t get in time.

The strongest and weakest records are color-coded hot and cold.

**Almost exclusively NFL updates this week. The only exception is Power Sweep going 2-0 on their FBS and FCS 2* picks.**
